2015 Mercedes-Benz AMG GT S Transmission: automaticMileage:22291The Mercedes-Benz AMG GT made its debut on 9th September 2014 and was officially unveiled to the public in October 2014 at the Paris Motor Show with two engine power output options: the GT, with 456 bhp), and the GT S with 503 bhp. The GT S was the Formula 1 safety car for the 2015, 2016 and 2017 seasons, having made its debut in that role in the 2015 Australian Grand Prix. The GT's exterior design was kept similar to that of the preceding SLS AMG. It features the wide wheel arches lower bodywork, and fastback sloping roofline of the SLS AMG, but uses conventional forward-opening doors instead of the iconic gullwing style pioneered by the 300 SL in the 1950s. The large bonnet and slim windscreen have been retained. The vehicle structure is made up of 93% aluminium, with the front module base made up of magnesium. The exterior lead designer was Mark Fetherston, whose previous works include the W176 A-Class, the CLA Class, and SLS AMG. The interior, designed by Jan Kaul, features a large centre console and decorative elements in a leather and carbon polymer design.Originally registered on 18th September 2015 this beautiful AMG GT S presents in unmarked condition. A full service history accompanies this Mercedes-Benz with the first six services carried out by main dealers and the last service on 12th May 2022 at 21,521 miles by a marque specialist. Finished in Designo Diamond White with grey and black interior, this stylish sportscar has an impressive list of options. These include Carbon Fibre Trim Package, 19â€/20†AMG forged alloy wheels, Nappa leather, AMG performance seats with AMG badges in the seat back and Premium Package which includes a Burmester surround system and a Panoramic roof. The price of this outstanding vehicle was £126,520 including £16,020 worth of options. These outstanding vehicles offer brisk performance by any standards. This immaculate, well serviced, and exceedingly well cared for example is a must for the collector or adrenalin seekers.Interested parties should note that the private registration plate shown is to be retained by the vendor and a new, age-related registration issued instead.
An older restored Lotus Cortina from long-term ownership. In 1961, Colin Chapman was commissioned by Harry Mundy to design a twin-cam version of the Ford Kent engine and its first appearance was at the Nürburgring in a Lotus 23 driven by Jim Clark. Soon after, the engine appeared in the Lotus Elan. During the engine's development, Walter Hayes at Ford asked Colin Chapman to fit the twin-cam into 1,000 Ford saloons for Group 2 racing homologation. Chapman accepted the contract and the type 28, or Lotus Cortina as it became known, was born. Whilst Ford supplied the two-door body shells and took care of the marketing, Lotus engineered the mechanical and cosmetic changes which included the 1,558cc engine along with the Elan's close-ratio gearbox, front quarter bumpers and Lotus badges. They also made changes to the interior with a new centre console to accommodate the revised gear lever position, different seats and a later styled dashboard that incorporated a tachometer, odometer, oil pressure, water temperature and fuel gauges. A wood-rimmed steering wheel was the finishing touch. On offer from long term ownership, which is always a good sign, ECL 82D has been with its current keeper since 2008 and with eight previous owners since 1966. The car underwent a full refurbishment around 2006 and still looks fresh today. Our vendor has added electronic ignition and an alternator as opposed to the old dynamo but, cleverly, its appearance is that of a dynamo (all the original parts are supplied with the car). The interior remains standard, however the original dash top has been recovered in leather. Our vendor is in the trade and consequently has maintained the car himself with all works logged using quality components and always 20/50 motor oil.The car is supplied with a small history file containing some previous MOTs etc. and some technical/mechanical data. Classically finished in Ermine White with Sherwood Green, this rather smart Lotus Cortina is guided very sensibly and represents an ideal opportunity to get behind the wheel of one of Chapman's finest.SpecificationMake: FORDModel: LOTUS CORTINAYear: 1966Chassis Number: BA74FP59933Registration Number: ECL 82DTransmission: ManualEngine Number: FP59933Drive Side: Right-hand DriveMake: RHDInterior Colour: BlackClick here for more details and images
2000 Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph 5.4 litre V12 4 door saloon Full-service history and recently with P & A Wood Registration: T800 ATT Chassis: SCALA61E1YCH04090 Odometer: 169000 Transmission: Automatic MOT: September 2023 No Reserve . 18 stamps in the service book . Full book pack . Supplied with two keys . Recent bills for circa £5000 from P & A Wood . Fitted with rear bespoke champagne and flutes holders . Fitted with rear seat entertainment system in both headrests . Centre console fitted mobile phone and Parrot system Outside Finished in its original factory colour of silver, the paintwork is in good order overall apart from a few minor stone chips on the bonnet , a small bubble on the near side front wheel arch , offside rear door and offside rear quarter panel. The chrome is very good though there is some pitting to the centres of the wheels. The tyres show a good tread depth. Inside The seats are original and in fine condition with the exception of signs of minor wear on driver’s seat and driver’s door armrest. The door cards and headlining are without issue as are the carpets which have protective over mats. The woodwork all appears without damage and the steering wheel and gear lever are without issues. Mechanicals The Rolls-Royce starts readily, the engine sounding sweet and turbine like form the 5.4 litre V12. The Seraph drives superbly with a linear power delivery, sharp brakes, precise steering and soundless suspension, evidently a very well-maintained car History There are bills on file dating back until 2013 though the service book shows 18 stamps from new until 2020. The latest record of work completed is 23rd April 2021 from marque experts and Rolls-Royce main dealer P&A Wood amounting to £3924.06. Pleasingly there is a full book pack in the correct wallet and two sets of keys. Our opinion A rare opportunity to acquire one of only 1570 of these models produced. Our car has been used regularly and for those who know these cars this is a good thing. More importantly, it has been serviced as and when required which is evidenced with a fully stamped service book. All Seraphs were hand built at the Rolls-Royce factory in Crewe. The car had a base price of £155,175 in the UK and was powered by a 5.4 litre aluminium alloy BMW V12 engine, making it the first twelve-cylinder Rolls-Royce since the 1939 Phantom 111. Aside from the radiator grille, badges and wheels, the Rolls-Royce was externally identical to the contemporary Bentley Arnage, sharing both its platform and bodyshell. Inside, the Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph and the Bentley Arnage were similar but quite distinct from one another. In the Seraph, the gear selector was column-mounted, and the gauges followed a traditional Rolls-Royce layout (for example, there was no tachometer). In both cars, the seats and dashboard were upholstered in Connolly leather, with dashboard trim and folding picnic trays for rear passengers and burr walnut veneer.
