J.H. Keeney: A J.H. Keeney & Company Inc. Bonus Super Bell 1946 Multiplay Console Machine. This machine has all the features of the original 1941 Super Bell, however, this machine has a large Bonus and takes five coins from two players. The success of these large console machine was due to the versatility, whereby the machine could be operated as either an automatic payout machine or a free play machine where prizes were paid by the attendant. The complex electro mechanical mechanism was ultra modern with features such as huge reels and a brightly lit back flash, which was due to Kenney's electronic experience making war time equipment. Bally also used many of Keeney's feature 20 years later. Measuring approx. 34" width, 57" height, 25" depth. Refurbished and restored by the vendor to a high standard. Please assess photographs.
A PAIR OF VICTORIAN GILTWOOD SERPENTINE CONSOLE TABLES MID-19TH CENTURY Each with a white marble top, boldly carved with foliage, C-scrolls and cabochons Each 101cm high, 99cm wide, 49cm deep Together with a pair of late Victorian gilt composition oval mirrors each with a bevelled plate in a pierced acanthus surround Each 92 x 81cm Condition Report: Consoles- Both with the marks, knocks, scratches and abrasions commensurate with age and use. Some old splits and chips. Some wear and losses to gilt surface. Gilding has likely been re-freshed at some point. Various chips, marks, scratches and 'nibbles' to marble tops. Marble tops have age but are possibly associated. Both consoles are structurally sound when screwed to walls. Mirrors- Both with the marks, knocks, scratches and abrasions commensurate with age and use. Various old chips, splits and some losses to frames - see images for details. Mirror plates likely replaced and later paper is covering backboards. Gilding to the frames possibly re-freshed at some point. Please refer to additional images for visual reference to condition.
