Pedigree Sindy 44614 Super Star: blonde doll wears pink bodice with matching skirt, medal on necklace, and ice-skating boots. Appears VG, however hands unfortunately snapped off and loose in box, and a couple of small black marks to legs. Contained in G/F box missing cellophane window, with talc leaflet, stand and a pair of black tights.

John Sheldon, a rare leather pocket escritoir, inscribed 'John Sheldon's Patent Escritoir', the lid with applied Sheldon Escritoir Almanack (sic) for 1845, with well fitted interior with folding ink stand and wax lights containers and a folding taper stick, a hinged centre compartment with applied label containing sealing wax and a Sheldon's 12 inch measuring tape with plain and chequered seal, with further apertures for postage stamps, pens, gum or other wafers and a combined dip nib pen/ spring coin and letter scale, with an original John Sheldon's blotting card and instructions leaflet, all within a morocco leather gilt tooled outer case, 10.5 x 7.5cm
A Corgi with Austin A40 mechanical A very smart example of the A40, no 216M, in red with black roof, flat spun hubs, flywheel motor. Early example without interior details and blissfully free of embellishments. Boxed, complete with collector leaflet, minor wear; vehicle near mint but small chip to roof. See plate 6

Sir Geoffrey Harmsworth’s Scrapbook of the airship “Graf Zeppelin” 2nd England Flight. A large (34cmx28cm) hardbound scrapbook of the journalist’s journey on the Graf Zeppelin, and later events including the photographs of the Dornier X. The scrapbook contains a variety of interesting items, including: Zeppelin Passenger regulations leaflet, Ticket for embarkation at the London Air Park (Feltham), menus and radio-telegram flimsy. Newspaper articles covering the flight, including by Geoffrey Harmsworth himself, and letters by to Harmsworth from the Master of Semphill (recently revealed as a spy for Japan from the 1920’s onward) and lady Drogheda among others. 19 photographs (25cmx20cm) relating to the Graf Zeppelin flight, showing passengers and crew, including Hugo Eckner at work and dinner, and aerial photographs of London from the ship. Also Imperial Airways Gazette of November 1930, and 12 photographs (25cmx20cm) of a Handley Page HP42 at Croydon Airport. Also 13 very rare photographs of the famous Dornier prototype seaplane, the DO-X on the water and flying. GC See Plate 13

Lottery Ticket 1788 original lottery ticket for the State Lottery for 1788 being a fourth part ticket signed by John Bruckshaw of the Royal Exchange^ with the number added in ms^ together with an attractive handbill advertising the Grand State Lottery for 1810 (a little weakness in original folds but in acceptable condition)^ and bearing the legend ‘to the Inhabitant of this house’ to verso (clearly a mail drop leaflet of the time – junk mail is not a new invention !).
