There is an elastic cord to hold the 45 rpm records in the lid are present. This phonograph was made in the mid-1960s for the beach or picnics and this one is in the rare ivory colour and comes with original leaflet and bill of sale £6.60 21st August 1965 (slight crack in the Lid)

EDG17 0-6-2 Tank Goods Train Set. BR 0-6-2 Tank Locomotive with Meat Van, Open Wagon, Tank Wagon ?Mobil? and Goods Brake Van. All in mint condition. Box is also mint with all correct packing pieces together with instructions, rail layout leaflet, guarantee, tested tag and other literature. The rare longer box houses this absolutely stunning set.

EDP20 ?The Bristolian? Passenger Train Set. 4-6-0 Castle Class Locomotive ?Bristol Castle? together with two Western Region tinplate coaches with plastic wheels and final metal couplings. Contents and box are mint in all respects. Comes complete with instructions, tested tag, Bristolian leaflet and other literature.

Single Page Leaflet. Yellow dominated single page leaflet advertising new 2-rail sets numbers 2006 and 2007. This leaflet was sent to the printers in August 1959 immediately before the industry wide printers strike. It is estimated that, as a result, fewer than 50 of these particular leaflets were printed. Reckoned by Tony Cooper to be ?the rarest item of Hornby Dublo associated literature?. This example, which bears the faint stamp of a newsagent in Bath, is in very good condition despite a vertical fold mark.

Single Sheet Flyer. A hand-out issued in 1960 to bolster the sale of 2-rail train sets. This is the later version of the earlier leaflet in that it has numbers referencing the trains to the description elsewhere on the page which the earlier issue lacked. Another pristine item from the defunct toy shop.

Hornby Dublo Leaflet x 2. The first is a Canadian leaflet with prices in Canadian $; the second for the Bristolian Passenger Train. Both leaflets issued in 1957 and in very good condition.

Hornby Dublo Leaflet. A blue and cream leaflet with a monochrome illustration of an 8? x 4?6? layout advertising a ?Trains Competition?. Issued in 1963 as part of Meccano?s last ditch effort to avoid financial meltdown. Issued only to dealers, very few have survived at all never mind in the excellent condition of this item.

Hornby Dublo Dealers Leaflet. A sales aids leaflet issued on 3rd February 1960. The front face shows four layouts, without rolling stock, with the verso showing illustrations of two dealer display units, an illuminated sign and a 2-rail Torbay Express Passenger Train Set. As a point of interest it includes details of the illuminated hanging signs offered for sale as Lots 327,328 & 329. In pristine condition with a fold and some writing in blue biro almost certainly by the shop owner in response to a query. Another rare dealer?s leaflet.

Hornby Dublo Leaflet. A pre-War 4 page leaflet advertising ?new features? for 1939-1940; printed in 1939 it is believed to be the last advertising material issued by Meccano before the War. Light buff colour with monochrome illustrations and descriptions of accessories and track. Remarkably good condition with two unobtrusive fold marks.

Meccano Leaflet. A leaflet for ?World Famous Toys? issued in 1949 with a colour cover featuring two lads surveying toys encircling a globe. The eight page booklet features Hornby Dublo along with Hornby Trains, Dinky Toys, Meccano and Dinky Builder. Fair condition: slightly grubby with an unobtrusive centre-fold. Contents clean and unmarked.
