When filiming publicity photo shoots with Sean Connery for From Russia With Love, they forgot to bring Bonds Walther PPK gun. The photographer had a Mod 53 air pistol with him, which was used instead for the shoot. Sean connery can be seen holding air pistol on many posters including Goldfinger You Only Live Twice and Thunderball. Christies sold this original Model 53 air gun in 2010 for £227,250

The Earl of Snowden and Carl Toms, a red painted beech and laminate elbow chair produced for the Investiture of the Prince of Wales the back gilt decorated with the Prince of Wales feathers and motto Ich Dien with a padded seat 77cm high, 4000 of these chairs were produced for the 1969 Investiture at Caernarfon Castle North Wales - This chair belonged to Dr R H Jones who was part of the Investiture Committee CONDITION REPORT: Manufactured by disabled workers at the Remploy factory in Bridgend, the chairs have beech wood frames with seats and backs constructed from preformed plywood, veneered in olive ash and stained in a vermillion red. The backs are embossed with the Prince of Wales’s feathers in gold leaf and the seats are upholstered in red Welsh tweed, using a stable dye that would not run onto the guest’s clothes in case of a Welsh downpour. The underside of the seat bears a Prince of Wales feathers stamp, the date and - obscured by the upholstery - individual handwritten numbering. The chairs were offered for sale after the ceremony and sold flat-packed for £12 each via a promotional advertising leaflet that encouraged guests to re-assemble the chairs for themselvesCONDITION - wear to the tops of the arms, wear to the paintwork on the legs, in overall used condition, upholstery appears to be original but has worn through and is in tatters, foam has deteriorated
