WWII medal group to Robert George Smith 398 Company RASC 6th Airborne Division comprising 1939/45 Star, France & Germany Star, Defence Medal and War Medal, French Normandy D Day medal, medal ribbons and badges of rank, together with personal effects, souvenirs, photographs/sketches and documents. Robert Smith was commissioned at Bristol OTC into the Royal Army Service Corps and joined 398 Company RASC 6th Airborne Division. He was in France on D-Day and remained with his unit until the defeat of Germany in 1945 and beyond, as part of the Force of Occupation in Berlin. On his return to the UK and after his release by the regular army he took up a commission in the Territorial Army in August 1946 and served in Gaza in 1947.Documentation includes Airborne Forces explanatory leaflet dated June 1943 signed by General Browning, original pre D Day instructions marked BIGOT - Top Secret and detailing actions on landing and assembly areas etc., 398 Company RASC war diary covering May to July 1944 including the build up to and landing on D Day, Juno Beach and beyond, Mentioned in Despatches document dated 22/3/1945 with one leaf emblem, 21st Army Group certificate of outstanding good service and devotion to duty signed by Field Marshal B L Montgomery, commission into Territorial Army July 1949, caricature sketches dated 1944 and signed Nutty, German starting pistol, hip flask, enamel Airborne Brotherhood lapel badge etc. and photos depicting his experiences, the majority in NW Europe and mainly of Germany

A rare vintage Dinky made No. 274 Joseph Mason Paints Mini - Van promotional diecast model. Model in remarkable mint+ unused condition. Comes complete within its original box and with its folding information leaflet present inside. The model still retains its inner packing card tube to protect the top of the van. Rare in this condition.
An incredible ' shop fresh ' original vintage Corgi Toys diecast model James Bond 007 Aston Martin DB5. Rare 1st issue, finished in silver with red interior and red tyre slashers. Mint+ unused / untouched model. Including inner carded tray, with sealed secret instruction pack containing lapel badge, folded leaflet, bandit figure and unapplied decal sheet. The wing flap presentation bubble pack being a superb mint example (There is a small factory imperfection to part of the lithography on one of the flaps, which has been corrected before distribution from the Corgi factory. ) An incredible example, likely one of the best known in existence.

To all Child-Readers of "Alice's Adventures in Wonderlan[d].", [Oxford: 1871], 4 pp. leaflet on white wove paper, final page blank, a few minor spots, 24mo (115 x 73mm) Williams, Madan, Green and Crutch 82. This copy of Lewis Carroll's letter of good wishes for Christmas and the New Year, is a bibliographical oddity containing the misprint with the dropped letter 'd' in 'Wonderland' on the first page. Crutch does not mention this presumably rejected early issue, nor have any other similar copies been located in institutions or auction records. (1)

An 0 Gauge Live Steam Spirit-fired ‘Stork-leg’ 2-2-0 Locomotive and Tender, built by Schoenner, Falk or similar, with twin oscillating cylinders, safety valve, whistle and original spirit-burner, the boiler in lacquered finish, black footplate moderately scorched, cab and tender in lined green possibly repainted, the tender featuring a very long fall-plate, overall G, and with a J Falk steam locomotive instruction leaflet in French, not necessarily from this engine (3)
A boxed Bassett-Lowke model express locomotive and tender, both in black with red detail, the tender numbered 6285, length of loco approx 28cm and tender 14.5cm, the box retaining a number of spare parts, canister and bottle of 'Rocket' cylinder oil and the original instruction leaflet, also to include six boxed sets of Bassett-Lowke straight and curved track with all boxes retaining original labels. CONDITION REPORT: Some surface wear commensurate with age, but models appear ok, cannot guarantee presence of all original components, boxes worn but all retaining original labels, has not been tested.
BILSTON & BATTERSEA ENAMELS; an enamel on copper snuff box depicting a 1904 Reo 1-cylinder run about from the James C. Leake collection on the oval form lid. In the correct blue padded original box, still retains original foldout leaflet. The actual car was driven in the London to Brighton run five times by Mr Leake.
