Kitmaster - A vintage boxed Kitmaster plastic and metal model kit. The kit was issued in the early 1960's and was part of a Lyons Maid promotion - send two Zoom ice lolly wrappers and a postal order to receive the kit. The kit appears to be in Excellent condition, and comes with an instruction leaflet and decals, housed in Very Good white cardboard box with Lyons Maid label to top, plus taping and age related wear. Catalogue notes Bawden designed a series of tiles which were used at the visitor's tea room at Poole Pottery. The tearooms were illustrated in The Studio Year Book, 1934. In 1924 this image was published under the title Throwing on the Wheel in a Poole Pottery leaflet.
