Brown Brothers & Hobdays Cycle Accessories Catalogues. Four hardbound quarto Brown Brothers illustrated Cycle Accessories Catalogues, being those for 1916 (No. 123), with an envelope and leaflet concerning Alteration of Pricing System loosely inserted, 1934 (no. 374), 1935 (No. 388), an un-numbered volume from the 1950s, all with rubbed covers but in reasonable condition internally, plus a disbound, incomplete Brown Brothers Catalogue with very browned pages appearing to date from the 1930s. The lot also includes three Hobdays Cycle Accessories Catalogues, all profusely illustrated, a hardbound quarto volume (covers dull) for 1936 (No. 123), and two paperbacks in smaller format, for 1950-51 (No.176) and 1958-59 (no. 200); plus another well illustrated paperback trade catalogue (List No. 306) by Runwell Cycle Co. (Manchester) Ltd. Lastly, a good copy of a quarto hardback book: Fifty Years of Schwinn-Built Bicycles 1895-1945, published in Chicago. (9)
The 15-7 Crossley Six. A quality brochure, 16pp, majoring on the Shelsley Model. The cover a little soiled, but cleanable. Also, a folding leaflet for the same model, a working copy and a brochure for the 1911-1912 models, 28pp with good images and text, but a torn and decayed cover and much feathering. (3)
Silver Shadow. A 1966 brochure for the Rolls-Royce and Bentley cars of the period, good colour illustrations and coachbuilt options, 20pp with tissue inserts. A 1965 12pp but small example, a 1969 brochure imaging body styles with acetate images interleaved, a 1977 typed press release and other publications. Together with a Jaguar XK 120 folder, a c1960 Alvis brochure and a publicity leaflet for BMC, the latter in only fair condition. Otherwise, good or better condition. (10)
c1935 AC Cars Ltd. A 16pp, large format catalogue with a single page at the rear discussing the success in the 1935 Monte Carlo. Describing, with specifications and with pastel sketches by Harold Connolly, the 16/60 Greyhound; 16/70 Ace DHC; 16/80 Ace Competition Sports, together with optional extras. In good condition, the centre pages pulled-away from the staples. Also, 'ACtion', a 1936 petit leaflet of 16pp, with descriptions and photographs of competition achievements in 1935 and 1936. A gentle vertical crease and a dealer stamp on both covers. (2)
Toy Island, Orion Toys, Skyvision - A boxed 1995 Japanese Imported 15" Toy Island Robocop Action Figure . The figure appears to be in Mint condition with an instruction leaflet and accessories. The figure is unchecked for exact completeness in a Good box with inner packaging but has some scuffing, taping and other minor imperfections.
