Olympic Winter Games 1940. St.Moritz - Rare advertising leaflet for the Olympic Winter Games in St. Moritz 1940. The Oplympic Winter Games were awarded to St. Moritz due to the fact that the Games had been taken off Sapporo since Japan had entered the war. Yet in May 1939 the Games were taken off St. Moritz, too, because of problem with the Alpine demonstration competitions. The Games went to Garmisch-Partenkirchen untill they were finally cancelled becuase of WWII. The leaflet was printed in March 1939, there's no reference to the Olympic Games in its contents. Rare leaflet (French).
