A Fine Persian Qajar Dagger Khanjar c.1800, the blade of dark finely watered steel and with a raised central rib, chiselled at the forte on both sides with shaped cartouches each containing Persian inscriptions in relief and with traces of a gold inlaid background. Hilt carved from a single piece of walrus tusk. In its wooden sheath now re-covered with green velvet. Blade 22.5cms. Good condition.
