German Third Reich NPEA Service dagger with frog by Karl Burgsmuller, Berlin. A fine and rare example modelled on the SA dagger. The blade is etched with the motto "Mehr Sein als Scheinef" and bears stamped maker's details. Brown wooden grip, with nickel plated crossguard top mount; housed in its olive drab painted regulation scabbard complete with original brown leather frog stamped ‘E. Luneschloss / Mainz / 1938.' Minor service wear, generally VGC National Political Educational Institute (Nationalpolitische Erziehungsanstalt) was an SS-run organisation to provide future leaders.

German Third Reich RZM marked SA Stormtrooper's dagger by Waffenfabrik Max Weyersberg, Solingen. A fine clean example with nickel plated mounts, the blade etched "Alles für Deutschland" and bearing RZM logo and "M7/12". Brown wooden grip inlaid with silvered eagle and enamelled circular SA device. Housed in original brown painted scabbard, the top mount with single suspension ring retaining brown leather hanging strap, the spring clip stamped with RZM logo, "M5/71" and OLC diamond logo (Overhoff & Cie, Lüdenscheid), and belt loop. Plating slightly starting to lift but generally VGC SA (Sturmabteilung) "Brown Shirts" dagger introduced in 1933.
German Third Reich SS Model 1936 chained dagger. A scarce, correctly unmarked, example. The double edged blade bears etched motto "Meine Ehre heist Treue" (My Honour is Loyalty). Black wooden grip with inlaid silvered eagle and swastika and enamelled SS Sigrunen. Housed in black anodised scabbard with plated mounts, the middle band ornamented with interlinked stylised swastikas. Complete with chains of alternate SS Sigrunen and death's head links, one link marked with SS stamp on the reverse. Fittings with some rust marks, pitting and slight lifting to plating in parts, blade polished so motto faint. Chape dented and split.
German Third Reich Army Officer's Dagger and straps. A good example with yellow celluloid grip and double edged plain blade. Silvered crossguard with central eagle and swastika. Oak leaf decorated pommel. Housed in its stippled silvered scabbard with two loose hanging rings complete with straps. Toned, generally VGC. Army (Heer) Officer's dagger was designed by Paul Casburg in 1935.
German Third Reich MINIATURE Luftwaffe Officer's 2nd pattern dagger by SMF Solingen. A good example with amber grip and twist wire binding; plain blade bears maker's SMF seated king logo and DRGM. Aluminium crossguard and langet bearing an eagle and swastika; the pommel ornamented with swastika and oakleaves. Housed in its plated metal scabbard fitted with two suspension rings. Generally VGC. Overall length approx. 24 cm. Introduced in July 1937.
German Third Reich Kriegsmarine Officer's dagger circa 1938-45 by Eickhorn, Solingen. A good example, the anchor etched blade with double fuller and to the forte the stamped cutler's squirrel logo. Gilt metal mounts, twist wire bound simulated ivory grip. Housed in gilt metal scabbard with engraved lighting bolts, oak leaf supports for the two loose suspension rings. Minor service wear and dents to scabbard. GC

German National Hunting Association dagger / sidearm ( Hirschfanger) by WKC, Solingen. A good example with staghorn grip mounted with Association's silvered swastika / stag's head emblem, silver plated oakleaf decorated pommel with acorn finial, deer's feet crossguard and clamshell guard / langet. The flat 33 cm blade is etched both sides with hunting scenes and bears maker's knight's helmet logo. Housed in its black leather scabbard with silvered mounts, the top mount with acorn frog stud. Miner service wear. VGC

German Third Reich 1937 model RAD Leader's dagger by WKC, Solingen. A good scarce example. White ivorine grips, eagle head pommel, the blade bearing etched motto "Arbeit adelt", the reverse with maker's knight's helm logo; the crossguard langet bearing the RAD device of a swastika set upon a spade head emerging from a spray of wheat. Housed in its plated scabbard ornamented with sprays of wheat bearing to attachment for straps. Some service wear, toned, plating lifted in places. Italian MVSN General's model 1937 fascist dagger. A fine rare example with plain plated blade. The polished aluminium handle terminates in an eagle's head pommel; the white ivorine grip bear a recessed gilt fasces. Complete with original black painted scabbard with gilt chape and two gilt bands each supporting a loose ring; complete with hanging chains suspended from "M" and spring clip bearing eagle over SPQR. Gilt dull otherwise generally VGC.

A good rare example with wire bound green leather covered wooden grip, in 11 spirals; double edged plain blade bearing maker's name to obverse maker's crowned shield with a "Z" logo.
