WW2 German 1st Pattern Luftwaffe Officers Dress Dagger, untouched example of a nickel 1st pattern Luftwaffe officers dress dagger with the top pommel having mobile swastika to both sides, cross guard with mobile swastika in gilt to both sides. Blue leatherette covering to the grip with the original wire binding. Housed in its original nickel silver mounted scabbard with blue leather covering. Linked hanging chains mounted to the scabbard but missing the clip fitting. Un-maker marked double edged blade retaining much of the original polish. The blade measures 31cms, overall 48 ½ cms. WW2 German 2nd Pattern Luftwaffe Dress Dagger by SMF Solingen, dagger with damaged orange celluloid grip, aluminium pommel with swastika to both sides, standard eagle cross guard. Housed in heavily polished scabbard with two hanging rings. Double edged blade heavily polished and remains of the SMF Solingen trade mark can be seen, as is the acceptance stamp. Dagger is accompanied by Luftwaffe other ranks belt with belt buckle, the buckle like the dagger being heavily polished. Belt leather is stamped “1./J.R.15 II” and 1937 date to the tab. Third Reich R.A.D (Labour Service) Enlisted Ranks Dagger / Hewer by Carl Eickhorn Solingen, with two piece stag horn grips. Housed in its original scabbard, refinished black centre. Lower mount with RAD emblem. Scabbard mounts with replaced screws. Standard hewer type blade with motto “Arbeit adelt” and the reverse with Carl Eickhorn Solingen makers trade mark and the RAD acceptance stamp. Some wear to the exterior of the dagger but the blade remains in good condition. Blade 24 ½ cms, overall 39 ½ cms. Re-offered due to non-paying bidder.

Original pommel and eagle cross guard. Housed in its original scabbard with single hanging mount and leather hanging strap. Double edged blade with medial ridge. Makers trademark has been removed from the blade. Some stress lines to the dagger fittings.
