A SOUTH INDIAN DAGGER (KATAR), SECOND HALF OF THE 16TH CENTURY, POSSIBLY BIJAPUR, KARNATAKA with sharply tapering blade formed with a reinforced point and a series of converging fullers, iron hilt extending over the forte with a large pierced, shaped panel on each face, strongly recurved outer-guard with recurved Yali finial, reinforced at the borders and in the centre with foliate panels and with a cusped moulding at the base, a pair of tapering side-bars, and a pair of grip-bars each with a central globose moulding (areas of pitting), 49.8 cm overall Roy Elvis Catalogue Number D74. The cusped moulding is reminiscent of Muslim architecture that was employed at the Hindu Royal Court in the second half of the 16th century, such as the inward projecting balconies of the Queens' Bath at Hampi. A 20TH CENTURY GERMAN NAVY (REICHSMARINE) OFFICERS DAGGER, this was made by Alcoso of Solingen and it has got engraving to both sides of the blade and an anchor in the centre cartouche, it has a wire bound black grip and features a push button release, the blade is housed in a brass scabbard, it also has a brass and black hanger and a silver portepee, it is in good overall condition and the black handle was meant to signify the mourning of the Imperial German Navy that was broken up after the end of WWI, Customers must satisfy themselves prior to sale in regards to conditions and authenticity, viewing is advised, condition reports are available on request

A 20TH CENTURY GERMAN HUNTERS DAGGER, this features hunting scenes on both sides of the blade and a gilt brass hilt with ivorine grips with acorns inlaid into them, the dagger comes in its brass and leather scabbard, the dagger was made by J.A.HENCKLES of Solingen, there is a silver portepee attached to the handle that has very minor damage, the brass on the scabbard is slightly worn in places, Customers must satisfy themselves prior to sale in regards to conditions and authenticity, viewing is advised, condition reports are available on request
A collection of jewellery to include a yellow metal ring stamped "14k" and a "9ct" stamped "The Welsh" sweetheart brooch. The ring, a bevelled band, weighs approximately 3.1 grams. The brooch weighs approximately 3.2 grams. The lot also includes an unmarked yellow metal ring, set with four diamonds with a cut shank and missing stones (2.0 grams approximately); three rolled gold 1930s wristwatches (all as found); two further ladies wristwatches, a "Sterling silver" stamped dagger-shaped kilt brooch (as found); and other items.
