German Third Reich Navy Officer's Dagger 10 inch, double edged blade with narrow fullers. Etched Naval anchors and foliage scrolls. Forte with maker Eickhorn Solingen. Gilt brass crossguard with central anchor panel. Gilt brass eagle pommel with central swastika. White celluloid, twist grip ( minor surface cracks ) with wire binding. Contained in its brass scabbard with lightening bolt decoration. Two oak leaf bands retaining two loose suspension rings. Complete with alloy cord, dagger knot.

A FINE PAIR OF MID 18TH CENTURY 16-BORE SILVER MOUNTED FLINTLOCK HOLSTER PISTOLS BY HARVEY, 10inch two-stage slightly swamped barrels engraved with a foliate flourish and LONDON at the breeches, border engraved signed bevelled locks, full stocks foliate carved about the silver mounts, these to include border and foliate engraved trigger guards, border and scroll engraved long-eared butt caps with Green Man masks, openwork scroll side plates, rococo escutcheons engraved with the motto CONSILIO ET ANIMIS and crest out of a ducal coronet, a lion, sejant, affrontee, in dexter a dagger, in sinister a fleur-des-lis, ducally crowned, wooden ramrods. One butt with repair. (2)
A LATE 18TH CENTURY ITALIAN DAGGER OR KNIFE, 24cm clipped back blade, tip chipped, finely chiselled with scrolling foliage, birds and mythical beasts, characteristic white metal mounted hilt of cage form decorated with scrolling foliage and encompassing reeded horn grips. Possibly Sardinian.
A SMALL GROUP OF DECORATIVE SOUTHERN EUROPEAN DAGGERS, the first Italian with 12.5cm etched blade, white metal mounted hilt with mother-o'-pearl grips, the second with flattened diamond section blade, white metal mounted hilt with shaped mother-o'-pearl grip, and a further white metal mounted dagger. A 19TH CENTURY OTTOMAN OR TURKISH DAGGER, 37.5cm slender tapering damascus blade chiselled with fullers and stylised foliate sprays, characteristic hilt with two-piece riveted walrus ivory grips, laurel embossed white metal trim with coral inserts and filigree borders, contained in its embossed leather wrapped wooden scabbard. A rare WWII Second World War Third Reich Nazi German RLB ( Reichsluftshutzbund ) German Air Protection Service officers uniform dagger. The dagger having a flat pommel and ebonised wooden grip with the regimental badge. The cross guard being the wings of a German eagle atop a Swastika. The double edged blade stamped to the ricasso for SMF Solingen housed in a black steel scabbard. The attached leather frog with RZM mark to the clip. Measures approx 37cm.
An original 20th Century mauser style rifle bayonet dagger of possible Turkish origin. The bayonet having a steel pommel with a unknown scroll to the flat end, push release button and wooden grip. The cross guard having a muzzle ring and a further unknown text to the ricasso. Single fullered blade measures approx 24cm.

C. R. Hattersley R.A.F.'The vendor's father was shot down in a Wellington bomber over France, He spent the rest of the war in Stalag Luft lll. After his release he travelled homewards across Poland, and at some stage acquired these two daggers.The suitcase much travelled after the war, as he continued in the RAF, serving in India and Germany. A group of Commander with Star: neck cross in GOLD with red enameled arms, 69x37 mm, flanked by the black enameled imperial eagle holding a chain in the beaks, with the motto “VIRIBUS UNITIS”; white enameled centre medallion, with the emperor’s cipher “FJ”; reverse medallion bearing the institution’s date “1849” on white enamel and hinged, polished gold border; hinged, imperial crown with red enameled inner cap and enameled crown’s “jewels”; link ring struck with “GR” for Gebrüder Resch, Viennaand “chamois’s head” gold marks; typical, suspension ring and original, crimson-red neck ribbon; breast star with chiseled and pierced rays, 70 mm, the shorter, of the “dagger-type”; the center, in the form of the order’s badge of the knight’s size in gold and enamels; concave, polished reverse, with two nuts and struck with “GEBR: RESCH” “IN WIEN” and Diana’s head silver marks; broad pin, struck with three “A” marks, in original case of issue, with gilt monogram on the lid.A very rare set of the 1st type, made by the then official purveyor of this order, from ca, 1868-70. Excellent condition. I RR!
