A Third Reich SA dagger, the blade with pre 1935 Eickhorn mark, hilt with nickel silver mounts, the crosspiece stamped "Wf" (SA group Westfalen), in its sheath with plated mounts, and with leather hanging strap, the spring clip stamped with RZM mark, "M5/71" code and makers mark. GC (very minor age splits to grip, the sheath well repainted). Plate 2 .
A good quality 19th century Sudanese arm dagger, blade 8" with raised rib and two narrow fullers on each side, the hilt of pale hardwood with silver pommel cap and lower mount decorated with band of filigree and having toothed edge, and with central broad band of plain and twisted silver wire; in its leather sheath deeply ribbed on the front and with tooled decoration, the chape of silver with filigree decoration on the front, the top mount of crocodile skin, with twisted leather arm loop. Good Condition, a fine example of its type. Plate 13

WW2 Era German SA 1933 2nd pattern dagger & scabbard by Arthur Evertz. Features mid-brown wood grip with eagle and roundel, cross guards with wear to top nickel finish. The very good condition A. Everzt RZM - M7/85 marked blade measures 22 cm and is etched with the motto “Alles für Deutschland” being very good in detail. Some light age and withdrawal marks and light wear. Brown painted finish scabbard is very good with only light chip marks, retains suspension ring and nickel mounts, being very good overall.
Stag gripped Stiletto commando dagger and leather sheath. Knife features a Scottish stag grip, stacked polished leather and brass upper and lower supports, with polished steel urn shaped pommel and shaped brass cross guard. 15.5 cm long polished steel blade, with stiletto double edge blade and maker mark for J. Nowill and Sons, Sheffield, England. Black leather sheath, which retains the snap back grip holder and riveted seam assembly. Light use overall.
1950’s German Bavarian hunting lederhosen dagger and scabbard. Stag horn grip with silver plate mounts with hammering damage to pommel. Hunting blade with no visible maker stamp or logo, sharpened single edge and surface show signs of regular cleaning. Scabbard of brown leather and metal in good condition, belt loop upper locking strap present. Measures 24.5cm.
WW2 German/Luftwaffe officer’s 2nd pattern dagger, scabbard and knot by Anton Wenger Jr. Features white celluloid grip, with full wire wrap, large spherical swastika and oakleaf pommel, with eagle and swastika flying eagle aluminium guard. Silver bullion dagger knot is tied to base of grip. 26cm long, double edge blade, showing a clean finish, being maker marked for Clemen and Yung of Solingen. Blade fits well into the nickel plated, pebbled scabbard, showing minor grey patina and “pinch” dents near end that doesn’t hinder blade.
WW2 Germany Luftwaffe officer’s 1st type, 1st pattern dagger and scabbard with uniform hangers. Rotating worn swastika pommel shows high plate loss all over, dark blue leather grip, full wire wrap in very good condition, with only very minor wear to leather. Nickel winged guard with rotating brass swastika to both sides, being in worn condition. 30.5 cm long non maker marked blade in fine condition, retaining leather washer. Blade fits perfectly into the nickel and leather scabbard, showing wear and section of leather tear section missing, retains full ringed hanger & uniform suspension clip, marked Ges. Gesch.
WW2 German boot knife by Puma with clip back steel scabbard. Features contoured bakelite grip scales, retained by three pins, grips have no cracks or chips and are in good period condition. The hilt has a small oval cross guard and the blade is stamped on the ricasso with the maker PUMA of SOLINGEN. Blade is very good and factory sharpened trench knife style, with a 14.3cm drop-point dagger blade and an overall length of 25 cm. The metal scabbard is factory black with minor loss, rear spring clip in good condition. The knife itself is in excellent used condition.
Nazi Germany D.L.V. 1st pattern dagger and scabbard by Gebr Heller Marienthal. Features nickel urn shaped pommel & winged guard numbered 542 with rotating swastika panels, with dark blue brown leather grip. Excellent condition 17.5 cm long maker marked and numbered ‘164’ blade, retaining leather washer. Blade fits well into the nickel and Moroccan leather scabbard, showing light wear overall, retaining suspension ring & hanger, with slightly dented ball end. Good unit stamps to throat, including swastika eagle propeller. Scarce 1st type dagger. Scarce.
WW2 Era German SA/ NSKK 1933 2nd pattern dagger & scabbard by Carl Eickhorn. Features mid-brown wood grip, remains of lacquer, which fits the white-frosted cross guards correctly, retaining both eagle and roundel, both of which sit firmly in the grip. The very good condition RZM - M7/66 marked blade measures 22 cm, etched with motto “Alles für Deutschland” (All for Germany) very good in detail. Light age spots, otherwise light wear. Black enamel finish scabbard, retaining the leather hanger to suspension ring.
WW2 German R.A.D. leaders’ hewer/dagger and scabbard with hanger by Wusthof. Features detailed hilt with eagle’s head pommel with 95% plate present and off-white grip plates. Cross guard arms that curl to a swirl at the quillons, plate loss and minor metal damage to right hand quillon. The guard obverse features a spade which is lined and has a superimposed swastika placed between two wheat shafts. The blade is a very fine matte finished example, being in near mint condition with only very minor age spotting. Motto “Arbeit adelt” is in crisp condition, reverse ricasso is etched with the Trident logo of ED WUSTHOF Solingen. The scabbard has a good crisp pebble pattern on both sides. The scabbard features the curl designs on the upper portion and below the curls are two touching wheat shafts. The lower chape portion duplicates the look with the touching wheat shafts. The throat is retained by two flatter head side screws. Completed with scarce double strap hanger. Total length 40cm.
German SA 1933 1st pattern dagger & scabbard by Ed Wusthof. Dark brown wood grip with eagle and SA roundel. Cross guards are correct nickel type with Oe’ (Osterreich) Gau regional stamp. Good condition blade is maker & trade marked ED. WUSTHOF SOLINGEN, measuring 22 cm and is etched with the motto “Alles für Deutschland” (All for Germany), being very good in detail. Fair condition scabbard, with anodised brown finish worn and light areas of surface corrosion, metal mounts has split to end drag, retaining hanger suspension ring.
1960’s era Australian issue 3rd pattern Fairbairn Sykes commando dagger and scabbard. Black enamel brass ribbed grip, maker marked for William Rodgers Sheffield. Retains large added brass ‘O’ ring. 16.5cm long plated double edge blade, shows use and remains of retailer’s stencil ‘SPEARMAN’ to one side. Custom made brown leather scabbard with leather tie. Purportedly issued to S.A.S.R. for use in Vietnam
