Corsican Vendetta Dagger, late 19th century, tapered single edge blade etched overall, and with MEMENTO MORI on back edge, tapered octagonal bone hilt inlaid with brass bands and pommel engraved with serpents and scrolling foliage, facetted brass ferule. ^ Good Quality and Very Unusual Chinese Carved Ivory Dagger, 19th Century or Earlier, straight swollen double edge blade, ivory hilt finely carved with a dragon on each side, 2 smaller dragons around the pommel which is fitted with a small brass button, and with stylised archaic face at the root of the hilt, in its carved ivory sheath with incised geometric decoration, 2 indicated suspension bands each with a small hanging loop (one incomplete). An Original Eickhorn Solingen dagger and sheath. W. Michovius Cottbus to edge of blade, detailed engraving of a deer hunting scene to one side of the blasé and hunting scene of wild boar to other. Raised acorn detail to both handle and metal and leather sheath. Classic scallop shell design quillion.

Rare Indian Mughal All-Iron Dagger Khanjar c.1620, curved double edge blade with raised central rib, integral hilt comprising swollen octagonal grip, roof-shaped pommel with stylised animal head finials one retaining a small iron loop for a tassel, knuckle bow with horse head finial emanates from an elephant’s trunk, whorled pommel button, traces of gold damascened decoration overall. Good condition for age, rusted overall and requires careful cleaning. Overall 34.5cms.

^ Rare Indian Ivory Hilted Dagger Chilanum from Rajasthan, early 18th century, slender curved shallow diamond section watered steel blade with gold damascened flower and foliage at forte, ivory hilt carved with foliage, swollen grip with down-turned leaves in low relief, pommel carved with a pair of lotus flowers on each side and with a lotus bud button. Good condition, good patina. Blade 28cms. This dagger belongs to a group found in armouries in Rajasthan, including Jodhpur and Jaipur, all of which are united by the presence of acanthus at the base of each grip
Fine Quality Mughal Indian Jade Hilt Dagger Chilanum, 17th Century, recurved double edge blade with socket at the forte to accept and secure a protrusion from the hilt, 3 part hilt of blue-grey coloured jade very finely carved with a guard having bud finials, hilt with turned central device to the grip, foliate carved knuckle bow, foliate pommel arms, and separate turned swollen pommel finial, in its sheath with pierced silvered mounts, covered with red velvet. Good condition, blade worn. Blade 24cms.

Good Early 19th Century Indian Axe, possibly from Bhuj, iron crescent shaped head with brass sides nicely engraved with scrolling and flowering foliage overall en-suite with the hollow brass stem, the square shaped peen is surmounted by a brass ankus, and the swollen lotus bud-shaped pommel unscrews to real a 26cm dagger blade. Crescent head 14cms, overall 54cms. Good untouched condition with good age patina.
^ Good Scarce Afghan Dagger Pesh Kabz from Herat, first half of the 19th century, T-section curved single edge wootz steel blade with thick gold damascened decoration including a vase of flowers, and a pair of birds inhabiting flowering foliage on both sides, back edge and gripstrap with a reticulated pattern of flower heads within a frame of shaped leaves, thickened point, 2 piece ivory grips, hinged iron toggle to pommel button, in its black ass skin covered sheath with silver mounts chased with flowering foliage, bud-shaped finial. Good condition, damascene worn to backstrap. Blade 29cms.

Engraved to the reverse of the top chape is Luftwaffe gul over initials. Double edged plain blade with makers trade mark logo to the base. Blade measures 31cms, overall 49cms.

Housed in its original steel scabbard with two hanging rings. Double edged plain blade without makers trade mark. Blade measures 25 ½ cms, overall 42 ½ cms. Accompanied by a pair of velvet backed officers hanging straps, missing lower attachment clips.
Third Reich SA Dress Dagger by C Gustav Neeff, good early example with wooden grip retaining the original eagle and enamel SA device. Plated top and lower fittings to the handle. Housed in its original anodised scabbard with both top and lower mounts still present. Double edged blade with motto “Alles fur Deutschland”. Rear of the blade has makers trade mark. Blade 22cms, overall 37cms.
