Original antique Soviet Ukraine Communist propaganda poster – Away with the bandits – the enemies of the working people. Workers of all countries unite! – the poster features illustrations of people in the village suffering from the hands of bandits who are looting, drinking, fighting, setting fire, and stealing, the villagers create a defence squad to protect their land, poem in Russian translates as – The peaceful village is in turmoil: bandits have swooped in like a whirlwind, sowing evil with their bloody hand... and here is their program in practice: Komnezamozh and the Executive Committee were instantly turned into a heap. The food warehouse is destroyed and there is grain and flour all around in the mud everywhere. The villagers cry in vain, their curses will be answered by a sword. A bandit is like a beast - he is drunk with blood, swearing hangs heavily over his scream. If he sees a fur coat, he will take it away, he will take away a serviceable horse, he will kill the Komnezamozhnik, he will not pass a single house. A steam locomotive is very dear to us, it helps in the fight against devastation, a bandit is ready to calmly send a train derailed. He is ready to undress and to rob, but to feed and arrange .. no way! He will for the sake of a joke burn and destroy the people's hard work. Cities should not wait for bread, and villages should not expect that sowing sowing equipment will come to ease the labour. The bandit thought differently and his goal is completely different: he enriched himself, while others ... let them starve! Having looked out for a clearing in the forest, the guys made a halt. They eat both chickens and sausage, this time they are rich in prey. Moonshine pours abundantly, sparkling bottles gurgle ... Sleep was already closing their eyelids, their brains and veins swelled with alcohol. They decided to divide the junk, and then pandemonium began: a fist, a dagger, a butt, a muzzle quickly solved all doubts. The father himself, the formidable ataman, in a smart outfit with belts, sits on a stump, like an idol, admiring his sons through the hop filled eyes. Having somehow calmed the fire in the village, buried the bodies of the dead, the villagers, both young and old, discussed the bandits for a long time. They decided they need their own detachment to defend the village with a gun when the bandits want to appear again in its surroundings. And so that the struggle could more accurately scatter Cain's tribe, all the deserters were pulled out of the cracks at the same time. They counted shotguns, Browning guns, cartridges. The village lives more calmly, keeps your lawful order. Where there is the power of free labour, there is no shelter for the rapists, the dark horde does not dare to impose fetters on citizens there. Hard work is held in high esteem there, contempt for drunken revelry, they boldly take weapons there, preventing an attack. And now, bending in shame, hastening to carry away the skins from the sticks, the dark horde leaves, like a dog, to look for a kennel. It is high time! Happy way! Now it will become more spacious for the plow to pull furrows on arable land, to dress the district in brocade of bread. Fair condition, restored paper losses, restored tears, staining, creasing, backed on Japanese paper. Country of issue: Ukraine, designer: Unknown, size (cm): 81x60, year of printing: 1920s.
