Housed in the original Herbert Johnson storage box. Some small moth nips to the central band but otherwise a nice example.

Post WW2 Artists Rifles / 21st Special Air Service (S.A.S) Beret, fine maroon airborne pattern beret with embroidered Special Air Service (S.A.S) winged dagger beret badge. Leather trim to the beret and black cloth lining to the interior. Makers mark just visible, “J COMPTON, SONS & WEBB LTD” and date 1954. The beret shows service wear but is generally a good example.
Third Reich Luftwaffe Officers 2nd Pattern Dress Dagger, with white celluloid grip retaining the original wire binding. Top pommel with the swastika retaining approximately 25% of the gilt wash finish. Cross guard with Luftwaffe eagle and swastika. Complete with officers bullion dress portepee. Housed in its original scabbard which is heavily nicotine stained. Complete with the original officers dress hangers having deluxe quality metal clips. Un-maker marked double edged blade measuring 24 ½ cms in length. Some surface staining to the blade but generally good untouched example.
Third Reich NSFK Flyers Dagger, being the early type with nickel silver top pommel, cross guard with black enamel swastika and scabbard mounts. The scabbard and handle have been re-covered in blue vinyl. Double edged blade with SMF makers trade mark. Blade has been shortened, measuring 16 cms, overall 33 cms. Ideal for parts or restoration.
German Naval Flame Pommel Miniature Dress Dagger in Original Salesman’s Box, fine example of a miniature salesman sample Weimar / early Third Reich period naval officers miniature dress dagger. The dagger is complete with its original grip, flame pommel top, cross guard with remains of dress portepee, end section missing and original scabbard with etched decoration. Dagger has plain polished blade measuring 14cms, overall 20 ½ cms. The dagger is housed on its blue card base with in its original card manufacturers box. No manufacturers details present on the dagger or the box. Very good example.

Plain gilt metal cross guard with anchors to the centre of each side. Housed in its original brass scabbard stamped to the top “O.428”. Double edged plain blade stamped with Reichsmarine acceptance stamp and matching numbers to the scabbard. Blade measures 25 cms, overall 39 cms. Top pommel loose and some cracks to the celluloid grip.

WW2 German Kriegsmarine Naval Officers Dress Dagger with Hanging Straps and Dress Portepee by Carl Eickhorn, fine untouched example with gilt metal eagle and swastika top pommel, white celluloid grip retaining the original wire binding. Attached to the grip is the original officers celluloid dress portepee tied in the naval style. Standard cross guard with press stud release catch. Housed in its original scabbard with two hanging rings. Attached to the scabbard is the correct long and short pattern hanging straps with aluminium fittings which retain the gilt wash finish. Double edged blade etched with foliage and anchors to each side. Carl Eickhorn makers trade mark to the base of the blade. Some light staining to the blade but overall a good example. Blade measures 25 cms, overall 42cms.

Top pommel with plating loss and very small metal fatigue stress lines. Housed in its original scabbard with rectangular hanging strap mounts. Excellent condition plain un-maker marked blade retaining much of the original polish and cross graining. Blade measures 24 ½ cms in length. Very good example overall.
WW2 Third Reich Hitler Youth Boys Transitional Dagger by Robert Klaas Solingen, fine example with black chequered grips and enamel HJ diamond insignia. Housed in its original scabbard with leather belt loop fitting. Plain blade stamped with makers trade mark for Robert Klaas, Solingen and the reverse side stamped with RZM M7/37 1938. Blade remains in generally good condition and measures 13 ½ cms, overall 26cms. Generally a good example.

Housed in its original scabbard with plated top and lower mounts. Double edged blade with motto, “Alles fur Deutschland” and reverse with makers trade mark for J A Henckels Zweillingswerk Solingen and RZM M7/10 1938. Some surface staining to the blade. The blade measures 21 ¾ cms, overall 37 cms.
Third Reich SA Dress Dagger by WKC (RZM), fine example of an RZM quality SA dress dagger with wooden gip having nickel silver eagle and enamel SA device. Plated cross guard and top mount. Housed in its brown painted scabbard with plated top mount and lower chape. Good condition double edged blade with motto to the centre, “Alles fur Deutschland”, revere of the blade having RZM makers trade mark RZM M7/42 for the maker WKC. Blade measures 22cms, overall 37 cms.
Third Reich SA Dress Dagger by David Malsch Steinbach (RZM), good untouched example of a typical RZM quality SA dress dagger. Brown wooden handle with aluminium eagle and enamel SA device. Plated top and lower mounts. Housed in its original scabbard with nickel plated mounts. Double edged blade with motto “Alles fur Deutschland” and the reverse having RZM makers logo RZM M 7/70 which was the RZM code for David Malsch, Steinbach. Blade measures 22cms, overall 37 ½ cms.
Third Reich NSKK Dress Dagger, being an example which is useful for parts, wooden handle has the enamel top emblem removed and nickel silver eagle de-nazified. Cross guard, top mount and top screw fitting remain in good condition. Anodised early scabbard with single hanging ring to the top mount. Double edged blade which has had the motto removed. Accompanied by three original SA / NSKK dagger blades, one with remains of Ernst Rohm inscription. Blades worn and polished. (4 items)
1930’s German Shooting Association Cutlass / Dagger, with stag horn grip, brass top pommel with Acorn finial, brass “S” shaped cross guard in the form of deer’s hoofs, plain shell type guard. Housed in its original brass mounted leather scabbard. Fine quality blade which is etched to both sides with forestry scenes and shooting association targets. Blade measures 37 ½ cms, overall 56 cms.
WW2 S.O.E Agents Assassination Pen Dagger, interesting dagger blade which was concealed inside the body of a fountain pen as given to S.O.E agents to carry in occupied territories. The blade measures approx 6 cms in length. These daggers were produced by MI9 and issued to SOE (Special Operations Executive) for use as assassination weapons or for sabotage. Various types were made including some which had the functions of a fountain pen. These were also given to resistance fighters.

WW2 Royal Navy Submarine “Jolly Roger” Patrol Flag Attributed to H.M. Submarine “Thule”Direct from the family of Able Seaman W.Y.S. Fern, this “Jolly Roger” was presented to him, as the most junior member of the crew, upon leaving HMS Thule by her Captain, Lieutenant Commander Alastair Campbell Gillespie Mars, DSO, DSC and Bar in 1945. The black cotton bunting flag, is decorated to the centre with a white cotton skull and crossbones, Crossed Cannons with three Star (3 surface Gun Action Sinking), Two Daggers (2 Cloak & Dagger Operations), Yellow Chevron (Japanese Vessel Sank), 2 Red Chevrons (2 Warships sunk), 5 White Chevrons (5 Merchant Ships Sank). The cotton edging is stamped “BATT 19”. The flag is in flown condition. Overall Size 42 x 48 inches... The flag is accompanied by a digital copy of a number of original snap shot photographs, including submarines and shipmates during AB Fern service in the Far East. Able Seaman W.Y.S. Fern was born in 1924, in 1942 he volunteered for service with the Royal Navy and then for the submarine service. After initial training he joined HM Submarine Tribune which during 1943 operated as a training boat. He was then posted to the Far East. He joined HM Submarine Thule in January 1945 and would start his career with the subs 3rd Far East War Patrol, which included a “Clock & Dagger” operation. AB Fern was the youngest of the crew and would have been responsible for the upkeep of the “Jolly Roger” After several patrols Fern was posted out of the boat and family legend has it that her Captain, Lieutenant Commander Alastair Campbell Gillespie Mars, DSO, DSC and Bar one of the most successful British submarine commanders presented the “Jolly Roger” to him. After a short brake Fern saw later submarine service with :Trident”, “Token” and in 1946 “Sportsman” which it is believed he crewed during her voyage back to the UK.
