Meiji period, a large vase painted on one side with various ladies in conversation, also with a child and a lady looking through an open window from an interior. The reverse painted with birds and flowering trees, surrounded by gilded decoration on a blue ground. CHINESE CELADON DOUBLE GOURD VASE - QIANLONG MARK & PERIOD. A Qianlong (1736-1795) mark and period porcelain vase, with a pale celadon glaze. With a compressed globular body, and a waisted mid section below a pear shaped bulb and tapering neck. The footrim unglazed, with a 'Qianlong' mark in underglaze blue. 32cms high. * The vase has various small bruises/chips to the underside of the lower section near the base, it has various small marks and scratches in places mostly to the lower section. **BP 22.5% inc VAT + Lot Fee of £8
