An Austro-Hungarian Silver Caster, Maker's Mark BP, Vienna, 1872-1922, fluted baluster and on spreading foot, the foot and sides stamped with foliage and flowers, with pierced pull off cover, engraved on one side with initials 14.5cm high, 5oz 4dwt, 162grThis lot will be sold under the Auctioneers' Margin Scheme Marked on base and cover with 'Diana head' standard mark for 900 items and maker's mark. The marks are generally clear. There is some surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use.

FABERGE - A SAPPHIRE AND DIAMOND PENDANT BROOCHOf openwork design, with central and pendant sapphires and further decorated with rose cut diamonds, with detachable diamond-set bale and brooch fittings, marked on pin-guard, gross weight 5.2 grams, on a 18ct chain, 3 grams. Originally sold by Christies in Nov 2008, taken from their site "Indistinct work master's mark probably of Henrik Wigström, St. Petersburg, 1908-1917" And provenance taken from their site "Probably Margit Lessner (daughter of Arthur Lessner).Then by descent to the present owner".CONDITION REPORT Overall good condition, marks indistinct. Pendant measures (including bale) 5cm in length. Chain is a modern addition, marked 18ct, the clasp is base metal. Previously sold at Christies in Nov 2008, lot 226, comes with original sales receipt showing purchase price of £7,115.63 including BP.

Original F1 Nose front wing cone - This was part of a Leyton House formula one car (CG901) driven mainly by Ivan Capelli during the 1990/91 season.Made from mainly carbon fibre, Number 16 on wing with Diavia and BP sponsor stickers, approx. 150cm x 80cm. This is a rare piece from a CG901 Formula One racing car. This was purchased at auction when Leyton House went into administration and sold off all their kit. Leyton House racing team only raced in the 1990 and 1991 seasons. It was designed by Adrian Newey for the 1990 Formula One World Championship. Five chassis were built and were powered by the Judd EV 3.5 litre V8 engine. Chassis 001 was subsequently modified mid-season to accommodate the Ilmor 2175A engine the team used in 1991. The drivers for 1990 were the highly rated Ivan Capelli and Maurício Gugelmin.

The reverse design depicts the classic portrayal of St. George on horseback slaying the dragon. The engraver's initials 'BP' (for Benedetto Pistrucci ) can be found on the base under the right rear hoof of the horse In 1989 the Royal Mint issued a maximum 100,000 half sovereigns for world wide distribution. No circulation standard half sovereigns were issued in 1980 This Proof is in 2 carat gold. Diameter: 19.30 mm; weight: 3.99 grammes.
