A boxed Tri-ang Spot-On L162-1 Shell and BP Garage Set, contents include Shell and BP signs, six pumps and two oil bins with bases, two bollards, two lamps, kiosk etc. together with forecourt base and sections contained underneath the box insert, generally appears F/G although unchecked for completeness in a F box with some signs of wear, surface paper label loss and tape repairs to the lid
A boxed Tri-ang Spot-On L208/B Small Road Under Construction Set, contents unchecked for completeness, together with unboxed items including a hard to find, L134 Pedestrian Crossing, G+, and six assorted Road Signs. Unboxed component parts for an L172B BP Pump Set – a sign, three pumps and a base, with some restoration to the arm of the BP sign, are also included as part of this lot.
Two unboxed Tri-ang Spot-On truck models, both of which have been restored to a very good standard, including an ERF 68G Flat Float with Sides with Oil Drum load in yellow and white Shell BP livery together with a Ford Thames Trader Articulated Flat Float with Sides in a recreation of the hard to find two tone blue livery, carrying a packing crate load. Also included as part of this lot is a 210/2 GPO Telephones Mini Van which has been restored with red paintwork and GPO Telephones decals and is accompanied by its original box which is missing a tab and the end flap at the unlabelled end. A hard to find boxed Tri-ang Spot-On 110/4 AEC Mammoth Major 8 4000 Gallon Auto Petrol Tanker, in the earlier Shell/BP livery with green cab, red tanker body and black chassis, appears generally F/G with some wear to labels, some signs of corrosion affecting the green paintwork, primarily on the offside front and side of the cab and with loss to the tip of the plastic support lug at the offside rear of the tanker body, housed in a P/F box with some tape repairs.
A group of 19th century and later collectors' items to include a velvet and cloth Humpty Dumpty, length 22cm, a 19th century scales plateau printed with a scene of Justice, various cotton reels, two small size bisque dolls, bisque doll limbs and other diecast toy models, a BP engine oil bottle, a dog fashioned from woven cigarette boxes, etc.
