The nice selection of 24 turkeytail examples range from 7/8 to 1-1/4 in. in length and are made from fine-grained stone in various colors, as well as a fine crystal example. The word ,Cracker, marks the location of a command post for the 82nd Division, as all command posts of this unit were named with a ,C.This item was found in the Belgian Ardennes, in the Trois-Ponts area. This French-speaking commune is located in the southern part of the Liege province. Trois-Ponts was a key location in the Ardennes battles and is considered a crucial stronghold of the fight. An important historical and military document recovered from the battlefield. Condition II+.
