There is a large natural inclusion visible within the ruby. Two natural flaws visible through magnification on the surface of the stone on side facets.

Six 19th century Grodnertal style dolls with painted composite faces and wooden limbs, (top row left to right - 28.5cm high, 31cm high and 29.5cm high and bottom row left to right 18.5cm high, 14.5cm high and 11cm high), and a quantity of dolls house furniture comprised of a mahogany circular pedestal dining table, 22.8cm diameter and 23cm high, and six chairs, 14cm high, a settee, 27cm across and a hot water urn 11.5cm high (some damage)Provenance: The dolls have descended through the vendor's husband's family. His grandfather Augustus De Morgan Hensley (1835-1924) was nephew to Augustus De Morgan (1806-1871) the mathematician, and cousin to William De Morgan (1839 - 1917) the potter. CONDITION REPORT: The dolls and furniture have been housed for many years in a Dickins and Jones of London box in an attic with a label listing the contents dated March 7. 49. The box contains evidence of mice. Dolls: The smallest doll - Left arm missing from the elbow. Skirt damaged to one side. Glue residue to head but no hair. General wear to head. 11cm high. Smallest of blue dressed dolls - Left arm missing at the elbow. Legs with old repairs using wire, cotton and glue. Head with hair and general wear. 14.5cm high. Larger of the blue dressed dolls - All limbs present. General wear. Head with hair. 18.5cm high. Doll with brown dress - Dress damaged in several places. Head with plaited hair. All limbs present. Legs dressed with stockings. Paint cracked and flaking in places on the head. Small wire hook below left ear. With bonnet with pink ribbons. 29.5cm high Doll with patterned dress - Dress skirt damaged. Cotton apron has completely come away. No hair. Paint to face cracked. Bottom of right leg has been re-attached facing the wrong way! 28.5cm high. Male doll - Suit fabric marked to the front. Upper section of legs not present within trousers. General wear. Traces of hair present. 31cm high. Furniture: Repairs to all chairs. Three chairs with loose legs. Table with one bun foot loose. Sofa with right hand bumper cushion loose and minor losses to the turned legs. Hot water urn with repairs, bent legs and flaked paint.

Approximate colour J, clarity VS as has one tiny pin prick visible through the table facet under 10 x magnification. Knife edge girdle with some nibbles to the edge, and very small culet. Displays slight florescence under UV light. Diamond Two - Measures Length 7.4mm, Width 6.93mm, Depth 5.13mm. Approximate colour J, clarity VVS. It is not hallmarked or stamped but in our opinion would test as silver. it fastens with a tongue and hardstone set box clasp, with safety chain. Gross weight 36.0 grams. An aquamarine bar brooch, a cushion cut aquamarine in a yellow double claw setting, to a forked tapering bar, length 6.7cm The brooch is in good condition. It is not hallmarked or stamped but in our opinion would test as gold. It fastens with a safety pin clasp and has a safety chain. The aquamarine measures 11.64mm x 8.68mm x 4.70mm approximately. Gross weight 3.2 grams. Condition Report made 22nd March 2017.
