A George III Mahogany Framed Wing-Back Armchair, late 18th century, recovered in green fabric, with rounded arm supports above a squab cushion and serpentine shaped seat rail, on acanthus carved forelegs with pad feet (retipped), 90cm by 71cm by 115cm. Upholstery generally good, but corner of one arm support is almost threadbare, the other arm slightly stained. Internal framework has not been inspected. All legs retipped. Chair is structurally sound. 091019

An 18 Carat Gold Amethyst and Diamond Cluster Ring, the cushion cut amethyst within a border of old cut diamonds, in yellow claw settings, to lozenge applied shoulders on a plain polished shank, total estimated diamond weight 1.20 carat approximately, finger size N see illustration . The ring is in good condition. It is hallmarked with an illegible sponsor's mark, Sheffield, 1977. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour I/J/K, clarity SI2/I1/I2.
