Obviously there are multiple marks, knocks, surface scratches, minor losses, and abrasions consistent with age and use in a domestic setting. The veneer has been replaced in two places towards the frame's foot, to the underside, firstly in a small diamond shape to one foot and to the whole underside from half way up the foot to the end of the bentwood frame. The underside of the footrest (to the majority of it) has been repaired and re-enforced (out of view but do see additional images). Small areas of glue and infilling. The underside of the foot is dark, marked and scratched in line with age and wear. There are a few clusters of splits in the wood, at natural stress points - to the back foot at the bend and where the seat meets the frame. The chair is stable and sturdy, it can be sat on (and enjoyed!). Condition Report Disclaimer
