DOWNSIZING (2017) - Paul Safranek's (Matt Damon) Gurney Model Miniature - Paul Safranek's (Matt Damon) gurney model miniature from Alexander Payne's Downsizing. Safranek and others who underwent the downsizing process awoke on miniaturized gurneys. A combination of model miniature sets, digital compositing, and live-action photography was used to render the 1/14-scale difference between the miniaturized world and the normal-size world.This cast resin miniature is painted white throughout with an enamel gloss on the legs, black on the wheels, and red on the armrests to resemble a mobile and functional medical gurney. The resin exhibits splits in several places, a stain on the top "cushion," and grime on the underside from production use. GET OUT (2017) - Missy Armitage's (Catherine Keener) Screen-Matched Hypnosis Chair - Missy Armitage's (Catherine Keener) screen-matched hypnosis chair from Jordan Peele's Get Out. Missy hypnotized Chris Washington (Daniel Kaluuya) and strapped him to a chair in her family's basement. The image was also used in promotional materials for the film. Markings on the wood base screen-match to shots throughout the film.Custom-made for the production, this chair features a wooden base with a shell-shaped crest engraved on front, a tan faux leather seat cushion, matching armrests wrapped with dark brown leather straps, and a metal support rod on the back.
