The top having a moulded edge above a decorative band of punched crossed and three long drawers divided by applied moulding. The cushion front drawers enhanced with geometric mouldings and fitted with brass pendant handles on petalled mounts with pierced lozenge escutcheons to each centre. Standing on square stile feet 31 ins (79 cms) high,32 ins (81 cms) wide and 26 ins (51 cms) deep.

The circular burr elm top having a moulded edge and dished receptacle to the middle enclosed by the red velvet pin cushion lid. The tapering pedestal support with turned knop above a pendant finial and four outswept legs with scroll feet, 6 ins (15 cms) in diameter, 5 ins (13 cms) in height.

The top having a moulded edge above two short moulded upper drawers with a secret compartment concealed in the divide, and three long lower drawers enriched with fine geometric mouldings incorporating cushion front panels with brass drop handles and rounded mouldings to the horizontal divides. Standing on turned bun feet 36 1/2 ins (92 cms) high, 40 ins (102 cms) wide and 24 ins (61 cms) in depth.
A Splendid & Generously Proportioned 17th Century Oak Cushion Front Chest of Drawers of good mid brown colour and rich patination. The planked top with chamfered edge above four long drawers hung on side runners. Each drawer with two cushion front panels in moulded frames fitted with cleft scroll pendant handles on petalled mounts. The top drawer centred by shaped projecting corbel appliqués flanking a small moulded panel. The three drawers below adorned with pairs of turned spindles flanking moulded & arcaded centre panels with conforming turned spindle appliqués adorning the sides and leading down to a moulded base on squat bun feet, 41 1/2 ins (105 cms) in height, 43 1/2 ins (111 cms) wide and 24 ins (61 cms) in depth.

The cushion lid having a raised centre panel carved with a central crest flanked by griffins emanating scrolls of flowers & foliage defined against a matted background and framed in beading. The domed border ornamented with a chains of linked flower-head ovals, acanthus leaf corners and a nulled edge. The base section having one long recessed central fielded panel carved with an urn flanked by two dragons, and two square panels either side carved with flowers.
