A Rolex cushion cased 9ct gold gentleman's manual wrist watch, 1930s, the circular 21mm. silvered dial signed 'Rolex', with black Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds dial at six, in a 28 x 27mm. tonneau shaped cushion case, on replaced 9ct gold and leather strap.* Condition: Watch winds and runs. Dial is clean but there are some scuffs and scratches to the silvering showing bright metal beneath, which are most noticable at an angle to light. The glass has some old superficial scratches but they are not unsightly. Case has a small flaw (a small hole in the metal) at the lower right corner - possibly evidence of an old repair. There are some old, small polished-in scratches elsewhere. Case back free of dings or dents - just light surface scratching. Case edge joint just to right of crown has some small nicks from use of an opening tool. Winding crown is not marked and is gold plated - the plating is quite worn. Strap later and in fair condition - evidence of heavy wear.
An Omega Seamaster stainless steel quartz gentleman's wrist watch, circa 1997, the circular 29mm. blue baton dial with outer Arabic ring, date aperture and sweep seconds, in a 40mm. stainless case, no. 196/1501, with integral 20mm wide satin finish bracelet numbered 1501/823, with box, outer box, spare links, instruction leaflets and warranty card dated 5.7.97 in wallet, Ref. no. 25118000, Watch no. 54052127.* Condition: Watch has been worn and shows some light signs of use but remains in good condition. Light scratching to bezel and bracelet. Not working - requires a new battery. Case and document wallet in fair condition, with some wear to edges and scratches to lid. One corner of lid lifting. Lacks inner cushion. Outer box has ink writing to lid.
A Chinese porcelain pillow or cushion, probably early 20th century, rectangular form, decorated in coloured enamels with flowering bushes on white ground, 5½ x 4¼in. (13.4 x 12cm.); together with three 19th century Chinese porcelain plates, the first decorated with a traditionally dressed Chinese figure within a clam shell feeding a carp, the outer reserves decorated with floral & bird decoration; the second depicting traditionally dressed figures greeting each other at a doorway, the outer reserves decorated with budgerigars; the third decorated with two dragons fighting amidst clouds. An Anglo-Indian Vizagapatam horn and ivory penwork work box, Vizagapatam, 19th century, domed casket form, the exterior decorated with pierced foliate scrollwork panels within ivory penwork strapping, the sandalwood and ivory penwork veneered interior with a removable tray with five lidded compartments, cotton reel, vegetable ivory tape measure and pin cushion, the well beneath with fitted compartments, turned horn feet with ivory beading, 12¼ x 9¼in. (31 x 23.5cm.), 5¾in. (14.5cm.) high.
