An eclectic collection of weavings suitable for cushion making comprising: group of three rugs, viz: a Baluchi rug, Khorasan, north east Persia, circa 1930s, 3ft. 3in. X 2ft. 4in. 1m. X 0.71m. With brocaded ends; overall wear and corrosion; a Kazak fragment, south west Caucasus, early 20th century, 3ft. 7in. X 3ft. 1in. 1.09m. X 0.94m. Overall wear, heavy in places; losses to ends; and a small Anatolian(?) mat woven with two pairs of rabbits, early 20th century, 1ft. 4in. X 1ft. 2in. 0.41m. X 0.36m. worn. together with a Group of six weavings, viz. an Anatolian yastik, circa 1930s, 3ft. 1in. x 1ft. 8in. 0.94m. x 0.51m. Overall wear; two Shah Savan plainweave brocaded fragments; brocaded plainweave mat; a brocaded plainweave mafrash side panel and a brocaded plainweave bag with woven wool strap and two-tone plainweave back, north west Persia(?) 20th century. A late Victorian silver shoe pin cushion by Adie & Lovekin Ltd., Birmingham, 1891, with ribbon-tied buckle and blue velvet cushion; together with an Edwardian silver shoe pin cushion by the same makers, Birmingham, 1902, the shoe decorated with multiple small bosses and centred by a rosette, plain heel and toe cap, the latter with chevron of stitching, brown velvet cushion, 6.5 cm. long.Both in good condition.
An Edwardian silver pig pin cushion by Adie & Lovekin Ltd., Birmingham, 1905, the purple velvet cushion heavily worn; and an Edwardian silver pin cushion modelled as a chick emerging from an egg, by Sampson Mordan & Co., Chester, 1907, with dark red velvet cushion. First item 4.8 cm. long.Good condition but heavily worn cushion to pig and gap where cushion does not fill aperture.

Oct. 1907"; a late Victorian pill box of kidney shape by Deakin & Francis, Birmingham, 1898, cover chased with swags of roses and tassels dependent; a French silver cushion-shaped pill box chased with rocaille decoration around a vacant reserve, circa 1900; a Continental pill box chased with scroll-edged cartouches and diaperwork, cover part-fluted, English import-marked for London, 1901; an Edwardian circular pill box by Adie & Lovekin Ltd., Birmingham, 1909, cover chased with scrolls, crimped border to base; and a German hexagonal cachou box, Hanau, circa 1900, chased basket of flowers to cover, sides chased with ribbon-tied wreaths and wine-related and musical trophies. Rare WW2 German Panzer Officers Overseas / Side Cap, fine black wool example with silver bullion piping to the crown and partial side flap. Officers bullion cap cockade and bullion dark blue / black backed officers army pattern cap eagle. Thin rose pink Waffenfarbe to the front of the cap. Black cloth lining to the interior with leather forehead cushion. Stitched to the inside of the cap is initials of the original owner “C.v.K”. Cap remains in very good overall condition.
