A George IV carved mahogany library chair, with a curved back inset with curved caning, with caned sides and seat, the arms with red leather pads, the seat with removable red leather seat, with a reeded frame and scroll end arms, on turned egs, 95cm H x 65cm W x 68cm D CONDITION REPORT: The leather cushion is not original but is cut to the shape of the seat - it is torn, cracked, with some staining and perishing, it will probably need replacing. The leather to the arms is worn and cracked and is not original. The metal studs around this are probably later also. The caning is in good condition but is not guaranteed to be original. There are some small chips to the top left corner of the back and general age wear patina throughout. There is an old repaired break to the left hand arm (see image) and the is visible construction within the frame (see images). Overall appearance ok.

A George III joined oak panel-back settle, early 19th century, with four moulded panels above a later squab cushion and downswept arms, the plain seat rail on cabriole legs with pad feet, 185cm by 65cm by 107cmVery faded and dry however uniform colour. Fielded back support with splits natural (?). Later pine supports added below the squab cushions. Further natural (?) splits above the front legs. Slight movement in joints otherwise OK.

An 18 carat gold hessonite garnet and diamond cluster ring, a cushion cut hessonite garnet in a collet setting, within a border of rose cut diamonds, to diamond set shoulders, total estimated diamond weight 0.45 carat approximately, finger size R. The ring is in good condition. The hallmark is worn, assay in Birmingham, no date or maker's mark legible. The garnet measures 11mm x 9mm x 5.1mm approximately. Gross weight 6.2 grams. Condition Report made 11th December 2018.
