A Chinese blanc de Chine cylindrical incense burner standing on three jue-shaped feet moulded with a geometric band. 17th century 12.3cm. A similar piece from the collection of Mr & Mrs Peter Thompson is illustrated in the University of Hull Art Collection catalogue āChinese Ceramics of the Transitional Periodā colour plate 16 and others are in the Ashmolean Museum Oxford and the Kempe Collection Stockholm.
