Unusual image of five Lama Priests, vessel the Columbia with Western passengers alongside Chinese junks, interesting posed group of Manchu women with "finger protectors" Also fascinating image of "Chinese Petty Magistrate trying the prisoners".. while villagers look on. Other notable images include the fire of Ning Poo Club Foochow, stunning theatre troop,(5 images), Pirates executed, river scenes at Fung Kee & Fung Foo, Arsenal, small village of Chung Chow, Foochow Native Girl showing her elaborate "headdress" from front and rear, Song girls (10 images) etc. etc. Two outstanding Albums one with printed title "Amateur Photographer Chuting Foochow" c.118 photographs in all a number c.28cms x 20cms.
