A Chinese famille rose plate, late 19th/early 20th century, of circular form with gilt banded rim and scrolled foliate band, the centre decorated with crysantheums and a cat seated upon a blue fence staring at butterflies, the reverse with three scrolled panels and character marks, diameter 26 cm.
