Lamenting martyrs from the Jacobite Rising, the figures are after the 1743 engravings by George Bickham. Riflemen Shaw and Farquar, along with Samuel and Malcolm McPherson were shot at The Tower on 18 July 1743. Piper Macdonnel was sent to Georgia, USA, as a convict for his part in the mutiny.
