An 18th Century Chinese polychrome decorated plate, the centre field depicting figures in European dress in a landscape, together with a Chinese polychrome decorated saucer depicting an ox and figure in a landscape, a 19th Century Chinese blue and white plate with buildings and figures by waterside and a Chinese blue and white miniature spittoon with blue and white decoration of fishermen by water's edge CONDITION REPORTS All items have general wear and terar comensurate with age. The polychrome plate has a crack running through approximately half way across the plate. The blue and white spittoon has extensive damage, there is a large chip to the underside of the rim and extensive damage to the body which has been glued back together - see images
A Chinese blue and white baluster shaped vase bearing four character mark to base, three further Chinese blue and white and brown relief work banded vases, a prunus blossom decorated ginger jar, polychrome decorated bowl and cover, blue and white bamboo pattern plate and a blue and white bowl decorated with birds amongst prunus blossom CONDITION REPORTS The bowl decorated with birds amongst prunus blossom has numerous firing faults in the glaze. There is a large crack extending from the rim of the bowl and extending almost all the way across the bowl. Along that chip there are areas of loss. There is also another chip on the rim that extends about 2" into the bowl. General wear and tear commensurate with age. The pair of blue and white vases both have extensive crazing and there is also a small chip to the rim of one of the vases - see images. The large baluster shaped vase has numerous areas and defaults from the glazing process, blisters and pinhead blisters. There is also a crack tht starts from the rim and goes a third of the way down the neck. There are numerous areas of crazing, there is also a chip out of the base of the vase - see images. There are numerous scuffs and scratches. The ginger jar has areas of scuffs and ssratches and general wea rand tear commensurate with age. The blue and white vase with the village scene has numerous imperfections in the glaze from the manufacturing process. There are three chips to the rim, general wear and tear commensurate with age. The polychrome decorated bowl and cover shows general signs of wear and tear, some light surface scratches and scuffs. The bronze around the top on both pieces is slightly tarnished

A Bristol delftware punchbowl and a large plate, c.1760, the bowl painted in blue with a continuous landscape of two figures in a boat before buildings, the interior and exterior rims with a formal bianco-sopra-bianco border, the plate painted in polychrome enamels with a single Chinese figure before an elaborate pagoda, the shaped rim with pinecone vignettes in bianco-sopra-bianco, some faults, 26.4cm max. 19th century AD. A glazed ceramic plate with basal ring; concentric blue lines to the inner face with blue floral and tendril motifs. 222 grams, 15cm (6"). UK art market, acquired prior to 2000. The Tek Sing (True Star) wreck is one of the famous recovery stories of the 20th century. Sailing from the port of Xiamen (then known as Amoy) in February 1822 the vessel Tek Sing was bound for Jakarta, Indonesia laden with porcelain goods and 1600 Chinese emigrants. The captain decided to pass through the Gaspar Strait, between the Bangka-Belitung Islands, and ran aground on a reef. The vessel sank in about 100 feet of water. The next morning, February 7, an English East Indian captained by James Pearl, passing through the same waters, encountered debris and some survivors and managed to rescue about 190 of the latter. Fine condition.
