Condition report: Hairline cracks to the borders of the pierced plates. Cracks to the jug. Restoration to the rim of one lobed plate. Minor rim fault to the charger. Minor rim chip to one octagonal plate.
A collection of Chinese ceramics to include a Kang-xi revival footed bowl with geometric patterns, a Kang-xi revival fruit bowl with marks to base, court scenes of people to the sides and interior. Together with an Old Chelsea pattern large tureen and a blue and white 19th century meat plate. Highest measures 12.5 cm and widest measures 40 cm.
A Circa 1840's Chinese Carved Ivory Brisé Fan, Qing Dynasty, with twenty one inner sticks and two guards. The tips are carved with branches and blossom and a bird. A central oval vignette depicts flowers, surrounded by figures and pagodas and boats. The guards are carved with figures and dragons. The verso is not carved. Guard length 19cmThe upper guard is repaired with a metal plate. Some ivory slivers are missing. Ribbon defective to the right.

A CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE 'LOTUS' DISH SIX CHARACTER XIANFENG MARK AND OF THE PERIOD 1851-61 Painted to the centre with stylised lotus flowerheads and foliage, the rim and reverse mirroring the design, 15.4cm. Provenance: from the collection of Professor J Norman Collie, FRS (1859-1942) and thence by descent. Cf. Z Lili, The Shanghai Museum Collection: Qing Dai Yongzheng- XuanTong Guan Yao Ci Qi, p.342 for a plate of the same design from the Tongzhi period.
A RARE CHINESE POWDER BLUE GROUND AND UNDERGLAZE COPPER-RED DISH KANGXI 1662-1722 Decorated with a figure of a travelling warrior monk carrying a large bundle, a fly whisk and a long stick on his back, all reserved against a powder blue ground, with sprays of bamboo and a flower mark in a double circle to the reverse, 26cm. Cf. C J A Jörg, Chinese Ceramics in the Collection of the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam, pp.127-128, no.132 for a dish of an identical design. The plate probably depicts Monk Hua, a character from Shuihu zhuan, a popular tale of rogues and robbers.
A RARE CHINESE LAQUE BURGAUTE PORCELAIN BOTTLE VASE KANGXI 1662-1722 The ovoid body with a narrow neck, a wide rim and a flared foot, all painted with black lacquer with inlaid decoration of three scholars conversing on a moonlit water edge by a bamboo grove, the foot with geometric bands, the shoulder and mouth with bamboo sprays, 28.4cm. Provenance: Christie's London, 17th June 2003, lot 66. Cf.
