A 20th century Chinese porcelain double gourd vase with underglaze blue figural and floral decoration within panels against floral ground, apocryphal four character Kangxi mark to base, height 18.5cm, a faux floral decorated vase with lion mask handles (af), a small sleeve vase with underglaze prunus decoration (slightly af), a crackle glaze vase and two early 20th century Japanese shaped plates (one af). CONDITION REPORT Double gourd vase ok with light general wear, some manufacturing imperfections to rim, some light surface scratches, the second vase with chip;s to rim, sleeve vase with small chips to foot trim, one plate with chips to rim.
Chinese porcelain shallow saucer dish decorated overall in iron red and gilding with well painted depictions of a pair of four clawed dragons contesting the flaming pearl, six character underglazed blue painted Guangxu Nianhao to the base. 24cm diameter approx. Together with another similar bowl of almost matching design and similar character marks. Also a pair of Japanese porcelain Kutani polychrome decorated side plates depicting figures in a garden. Six character painted marks to bases. 15cm diameter approx. (4) (B.P. 24% incl. VAT) Condition: The Chinese plate appears good with no obvious damage. The matching bowl has a long hair crack and paint around small area. The Japanese plates - one is chipped with hair crack.Size: dish diameter is 24cm approx and bowl is 19cm diameter and 8cm high approx.

A .790 CALIBRE PERCUSSION CHINESE CONTRACT PATTERN 1842/51 RIFLE MUSKET, 39inch sighted rifled barrel fitted with ramp and ladder rear sights, Ordnance and proof markings to left side of the breech, Chinese characters and the serial no. 2810 to the right side, border engraved lock stamped 1855 over TOWER and with a crown over VR at the tail, full stocked, the butt stamped with BO marks and Chinese characters, regulation brass mounts, steel ramrod, complete with socket bayonet by SALTER & CO. The bayonet catch would suggest a P51 but the bore and lock plate a P42.

A CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE MOON FLASK, having dragon handles, floral decoration on white ground, approximate height 26cm, (damage to one dragon handle and restoration, chips and cracks to the rim), together with a Chinese tea caddy having six character marks to the base, Dog of Fo standing on the cover, approximate height 24cm x width 17cm x depth 7cm, a Chinese plate having three pierced panels to the rim and fish decoration to the centre, approximate diameter 25cm, a blue and white Chinese ginger jar, hand decorated with boys in fighting positions, approximate height 15cm, double ring stamp to the base, paper import sticker in place, but no longer legible, crack to the cover, a Chinese stoneware shouldered vase having three toed dragon decoration, approximate height 10cm, a Chinese jug, decorated with bridge and boat scene, approximate height 8cm x 13cm from spout to handle, fritting, a Chinese vase having four toed dragon decoration, approximate height 10cm and a Chinese finger bowl, approximate height 3.5cm x diameter 8cm, chip to the rim (8) Condition Report One handle is missing head and tail. The neck has been anmd glued and also has lots lof chips to the rim as per the description. The other handle is missing the tail tip.
THREE PIECES OF 19TH CENTURY CHINESE CANTON FAMILLE ROSE PORCELAIN, comprising a deep bowl, chipped rim and with stapled repair through base, approximate size 40.5cm, a charger, celadon ground, the centre decorated with figures, approximate diameter 37cm, a similar smaller plate, approximate diameter 29cm, chip to rim and crack, together with a 20th Century Chinese planter of rectangular form in the Famille Rose Canton style, approximate height 18cm (4) Condition Report The largest charger has worn gilding, especially to the rim. It has been broken right through and repaired, there is a patch of restoration where several pieces have been broken and re-attached. There is a chip to the underside and two stained cracks, Large bowl has riveted repairs and cracked, very worn gilding. Smaller charger is cracked and has two rim chips. Rectangular planter is in good condition

A pair of late 18th/early 19th century Chinese rounded octagonal shallow bowls well painted in blue and white with a central floral spray beside a fence, diameter 27.5cm.Additional InformationBoth carry unfortunate iron wall hanging brackets, this has caused a small chip to one approximately 1cm x 3mm but this dish still rings true, has light surface scratches and pitting marks from manufacture, the second plate has two tracks to the rim, each approx 5cm, one of these is from 2 x 2cm angle chip which has been repaired, two smaller chips to the side of this to the rim, general fritting throughout, some staining and surface scratches to both front and rear.
