A Chinese Tang style white ware figure of Guanyin, on a lotus base, 20.5cm high, a Xing ware type twin handled cup, 12cm wide and a similar circular plate, impressed mark to underside, 20.5cm diameter (3) (at fault) CONDITION REPORT: Guanyin- Stained crazing visible throughout. Head re-glued at neck. Restored section to headpiece and losses to surrounding areas. Firing cracks to the back of the figure, front and lotus base. Chip to the base of left drop of her robe and small chip to opposite side. Hollow interior rather grubby and showing firing cracks running throughout (SEE IMAGES).Twin handled cup- Three rim descending hairline cracks. Stained crazing throughout body. Some small chips and glaze nibbles to the handles high points. Unglazed foot rim. Pitted to underside. Chip to rim above handle. Plate- Underglaze fritting. Pitting visible. Stained crazing visible. Seven Chinese porcelain millefleur plates, Guangxu six character marks, each circular plate decorated with a millefiori design within lobed rims, 21cm diameter with a famille jaune teapot and cover and six tea bowls and four further Chinese teacups and saucers (23) (at fault) CONDITION REPORT: Each plate with general surface scratches and enamel wear. 2x chips to rim.2x rim descending hairline cracks.
A circa 1900 Samson bowl, the interior decorated with floral sprays, the front with crest and motto "Uti mignaturus habita (Dwell as ready to depart)" with character mark to base, a 20th Century Chinese ginger jar with prunus decoration, four 20th Century Chinese saucers decorated with various figures, a Cantonese decorated saucer with famille-rose decoration, a further Chinese saucer, various Noritake plates and bowls, etc (15) CONDITION REPORTS The Samson bowl shows areas of wear and fading to the gilt work. The inside of the bowl has areas of dirt, accretions and light surface scratches, crazing etc. The Prunus decorated ginger jar lid has been broken in half and been glued back together. See photo for details. There is also a chip to the rim of the vase, various surface scratches and marks. The four 20th Century Chinese saucers decorated with various figures show areas of fading to the images. There are numerous surface scratches. One bowl has a chip to the rim. Bowls appear to have dirt and various accretions. Light cracks in the glaze as well. The two blue and white saucers have light surface scratches and discolouration. There is also cracks to both where there appears to be restoration and areas appear to have been glued back together. See photo's for details. The Cantonese saucer will famille-rose decoration has areas of fading to the gilt, light surface scratches and the Noritake dishes have fading to areas of gilt, surface scratches, surface dirt, accretions. All items have wear and tear commensurate with age and use. There is a figure with a Celadon glaze holding a fan. Small chip to the base at the back of the figure and a crack at what appears to be the figure's pony tail. Surface scratches, general wear and tear commensurate with age. The four Chinese saucers are all approximately 13cms wide x 3.5cms high. The Prunus ginger jar is is approximately 15cms tall. The Samson bowl is 25cms in diameter and 11cms high. The Celadon figure is approximate 17cms tall. The two blue and white dishes are both 12cms in diameter approximately. The famille-rose decorated dish is 13cms in diameter and 3 in height. The Noritake bowl and saucer - the bowl is approximately 6cms high and the 12cms diameter. The dish it sits on is approximately 16cms in diameter. The Noritake plate is approximately 24.5cms in diameter and 3cms high. The blue Noritake bowl is 16cms in diameter and 4cms in height.
A Chinese porcelain circular shallow bowl painted in underglaze blue with Eight Immortals to the top and with three lucky bats to the outside, bearing Ming four character mark to base, diameter 14cm, and a further circular dish decorated with figure in garden with butterfly within lobed floral border and ornamental band, with similar decoration to the outside, unmarked, diameter 11.5cm (2).The first item was purchased in Singapore, the other at Sotheby's Pulborough in 1983. CONDITION REPORT: The immortals plate appears to be in good condition, only with some wear to the base, the further plate has got star hairlines to the glaze of the centre, also with areas of imperfections, small chip to one of the raised points of the shaped rim, otherwise appears to be in good condition.
A Chinese porcelain circular plate painted in underglaze blue with basket of flowers within border of clouds on blue ground, marked with square seal mark within double ring to the base, possibly early 18th century, diameter 20.5cm (af).Purchased at Parkinson & Hamer, Bury, in 1987. CONDITION REPORT: A major chip to the rim, approx 1.2cm long, numerous shallow chips to underneath of the rim and two areas of loss to the glaze/shallow chips, one hairline spreading from the rim, length approx 2.5cm, area of manufacturing imperfections to the base, no traces of major damage or restoration, rings true.
A Chinese porcelain octagonal plate painted in underglaze blue with peony and blossoming prunus tree with perched bird, with geometric band to the rim alternating with stylised floral motifs to each corner, with cafe-au-lait glazed rim, unmarked, possibly 18th century, longer diameter 28cm. CONDITION REPORT: In good condition with no obvious traces of damage or restoration, surface dirt and areas of glazing imperfections to include bubble bursts, with owners stock number to the base, rings true.

CONDITION REPORT: Numerous areas of nibbles to underneath of the rim, rubbing to the glaze of the edge, few chips/nibbles visible to the upper part of the rim, chips, nibbles and firing imperfections to the edge of the foot, surface wear and minor dirt, also an area of large bubble burst which has been later overpainted to the right side of the scene, rings true, with vendors stock number to the base.

A Nankin Cargo Chinese porcelain blue and white plate, with wavy rim, the centre decorated with pagodas amongst trees, original gilt decoration worn, 22cm diameter, with Christies lot label 3718 CONDITION REPORT: Gilt decoration almost entirely worn away. Traces of where it would have been are visible on the surface when the light catches it. The plate 'rings' when tapped. No chips or cracks.
