Second largest size dish with stained crazing, third size dish cracked. Smallest three dishes only one having a rim chip. Both soup tureens and covers are overall in good condition, one base has a faint star crack to the side but only visible from interior. The stands in overall good condition, one having a short hairline rim crack. Three footed circular dishes and only two pierced covers- both covers with several hairline cracks and one with a small rim chip. The bases all with some glaze staining, one has a short hairline rim crack. two sauce tureen stands (tureens lacking) one having hairline crack to footrim. 13 Soup plates - 10 in lovely condition, 2 cracked, 1 restored (badly). dating: first quarter of the 19th Century provenance: England, Round, smooth-bore, 13 mm cal. barrel, with rib in the lower part, with integrated barrel bracket, octagonal breech, nozzle with fore-sight. Flintlock with flat plate, pan provided with spark arrester. Trigger and other mounts are missing, except for the muzzle ring and butt-plate, both in iron. Fine, short, dark, wooden stock, of European shape but with typically Chinese decorations, with fine, relieved rinceaux at the grip, butt side and front part, a big ideogram below, chiselled in bass-relief. length 156 cm.

A pair of Chinese blue and white Kangxi style dishes, late Qing Dynasty (1644-1912)The circular form dishes with centrals reserved outlined with diaper work and pennant borders filled with pavilion waterside scenes and figure on a bridge, in rich cobalt, four character mark to base, 37cm diameter. CONDITION REPORT: Plate one - pitting and glaze bubbles to central well and throughout. Scuffing and shallow chip (approx 2cm in length) to footrim. Scratching to well.
