An Arts and Crafts copper ceiling light / chandelier possibly Birmingham Guild of Handicraft, with flower head top, the elaborate light with a twin hoop frame supporting five foliate arms, each hung with an vaseline glass shades, 70cm diameter PROVENANCE: Private collection, from a Thames riverside house, Windsor. CONDITION REPORT: The lanterns would un-hook from the main body of the chandelier but this is not possible because the wiring keeps them in position also. The ceiling rose is not damaged. Height without the chain and rose is 73cmLight wear, general age wear discolouration to the metalwork but overall ok. Some of the shades have small chips / nicks at the smaller end. Lighting lots are sold as decorative items only. Prospective buyers must consult with a qualified electrician before use / installation of these items.
