A 19th century walnut Gothic bracket clock, with twin fusee movement by Parkinson & Bouts, Gracechurch Street London. Height 64 cm, width 40 cm, depth 24 cm, complete with bracket (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The movement is fully wound on the left-hand facing train. The right-hand train does wind. The movement is chain fusee. It strikes on two bells. When the movement is manually advanced it appears to strike correctly on the quarter, half, three quarter and full. We have a winding key and the pendulum. The movement is not currently running. Both locks are present and unlocked. We do not have the keys. The silvered brass dial is rubbed in places. The case is in generally good order with no losses to the fretwork that we can see. The doors are not warped. The only issue is that beneath the front point of the pediment above the strike silent pointer at the top there should be a section of Gothic carving. This is detached as per our image and more than 50% of this is actually missing.
A 9 ct gold large link bracelet with heart shaped padlock. 63 grams. CONDITION REPORT: The length of the chain excluding the large padlock is 22.5 cm. The padlock is stamped 375 on the loop but there are no other hallmarks on the chain. Both the chain and padlock are in very good order with no significant signs of wear to the links. The padlock snaps shut as it should and closes securely.
A late 18th/early 19th century "Breguet a Paris" key wind open face pocket watch, with gilt fusee verge movement with engraved bridge and silver regulation, the dial white enamel with Roman numerals and outer minute divisions, winding at 2. The case gilt and with hand painted porcelain plaque also jewelled. Movement diameter 33 mm, case 42 mm. NOTE: Verge chain detached and possibly snapped. Whilst this is a period pocket watch items marked "Breguet a Pairs" from this period were not manufactured by Breguet (see illustration).
An 18 ct gold fob watch, knob wind and with "Keystone" case, the enamelled dial with subsidiary seconds dial and gold coloured hands. Diameter 34 mm and with plated chain. Gross weight excluding chain 36 grams, gross movement marked Elgin USA. The movement does wind but is currently not ticking. CONDITION REPORT: The movement does wind but is currently not ticking. The inner dust cover is hallmarked for 18 ct gold. The outer top watch case is engraved with initials.
A gold coloured metal locket, set with seed pearls and ruby coloured stones, gross weight 12 grams, together with a gold coloured heart shaped locket with 18 ct T bar. 7.5 grams. CONDITION REPORT: The T bar is stamped 18 ct. It is in good condition as is the clasp and chain. The heart shaped locket is thin gauge and a little dented as a result. It does however snap shut as it should. The oval locket is a little dirty and the stones are generally chipped. The seed pearls are also worn and two are missing. The locket opens and snaps shut as it should. There are some minor dents and it is inscribed on the reverse.
A 9 ct gold Albert chain, with 1911 full sovereign. 54.7 grams (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The length of the chain including both clip ends is 42.5 cm. Each link is stamped 9 and 375. The hallmarks are a little rubbed in places but all legible. There is some wear to the links but not sufficiently so to be problematic. The sovereign and mount are in good order as is the T bar.
A silver foliate engraved fob watch, knob wind with Albert chain with T bar and four pence piece. Diameter 36 mm. CONDITION REPORT: The movement winds and appears to be ticking away as it should. The pointers adjust correctly. The case is in generally very good condition with no significant scratches or dents. The watch dial and face are also in extremely good condition.
A cameo bracelet, ring, earrings, pendant and small box. CONDITION REPORT: The cameo pendant and chain are stamped 10 k. The chain is in good order as is the pendant. The cameo ring is stamped sterling. It is very dirty and the cameo is loose in its mount. The bangle is not hallmarked and likely to be plated. It is in generally good condition but does have some green discolouration to one side possibly caused by testing. The cameo earrings have lost some of the gilding but are structurally sound. The box is brass. The cameo to the top has a crack.
