Diamond and emerald necklace, stamped '585', the frontispiece with an oval cut emerald enclosed by an octagonal frame and sixteen brilliant cuts, suspended from a bridge of three square cut emeralds flanked by panels either side, each set with a line of eight brilliant cuts, the 32 diamonds totalling approximately 0.69 carats, to a flat link back chain, 43cm long, 16g gross Condition: There is a small section of the chain that appears to have been damaged approx 3/4 up the chain but doesn't seem to effect the flexibility of the chain, the oval emerald approx 7.5mm x 5.5mm - **General condition consistent with age

Victorian brass framed single fusee skeleton clock attributed to Smiths of Clerkenwell, London, having a pierced silvered Roman chapter ring and chain-driven single fusee movement, the architectural frame having four knopped tapering pillars and twin spire 'cathedral' design with two perching gilt metal eagles over two standing lions, on stepped rectangular base, 38cm high, in turn upon a white marble oval plinth with bun feet and beneath glass dome, 54cm high overall Literature - See Derek Roberts, British Skeleton Clocks, Antique Collectors Club, 1997, pp.126-129. A similar model is illustrated in the Smiths catalogue as 'Lion and Eagles gilt, price £6' Condition: Marble would benefit from a clean and is missing one bun foot to front otherwise sound. Early 20th Century mahogany cased single-fusee wall clock with 14'' white Roman dial and chain-driven single-fusee movement, stamped '2108 Made by W. Elliott 1936', within moulded circular surround on two door back box, 47cm diameter Condition: Minor staining to dial plus infilled flake between centre and 1 o'clock, movement appears sound but is untested and sold as seen. Case is missing three pegs to hold dial surround to rear box. Dial surround has been stripped and repolished, would benefit from a waxing.
