Crimea War, Florence Nightingale - a mid-19th century bowed cylindrical beaker, naively carved in relief Scutari Hospital 1855, between two copper bands, 12cm high, dated 1855This beaker is reputedly to have been used by the residents of the hospital in 1855 when Florence Nightingale was working there. The Army Medical Services Museum believes it to have been the personal beaker of a resident and also carved by one, rather than military issue.

General Hasso von Manteuffel WW2 German Panzer commander signed business card, with unsigned b/w photo of him in uniform in the field. Hasso von Manteuffel was a German general during World War II who commanded the 5th Panzer Army. He was a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves, Swords and Diamonds of Nazi Germany. After the war, he was elected to the Bundestag and was the spokesman for defense of the Liberal Party. Good condition Est.

William Speakman-Pitt, VC (21 September 1927 – 20 June 2018), known as Bill Speakman, was a British Army soldier and a recipient of the Victoria Cross, the highest award for gallantry in the face of the enemy that can be awarded to British and Commonwealth forces. He was the first person to receive an honour from Queen Elizabeth II. Good condition Est.

Lt Gen Ira Eaker USAF signed 1983 B24 Liberator bomber cover. Flown by Details, biographies and information inside. VC 10. US Medal of Honour stamp and Washington CDS postmark. Eaker, as second-in-command of the prospective Eighth Air Force, was sent to England to form and organize its bomber command. However while he struggled to build up airpower in England, the organization of the Army Air Forces kept evolving and he was named commander of the Eighth Air Force on December 1, 1942. Good condition Est.
Fall of France official double signed Royal Air Force cover JS/50/40/5. Signed by Lieutenant General Sir Derek Lang, KCB, DSO, MC, DL, and Mr Gordon Skelton. Took place on the 14th to 21st June 1940. GB stamp and 50th Anniversary of The Fall of France British Forces Postal Services 2231 June 1990 postmark. Royal Air Force Biggin Hill November 1990 postmark on back. Flown in Twin-Piper Apache from Biggin Hill to Le Touquet via West Malling and Dover, then on to St. Valery en Caux and over the area where the French Tenth Army and some British Forces fought a desperate rear-guard action from 10th until 12th June 1940, when the British 51st Highland Division was captured. Then Returned to Biggin Hill via Dover. Good condition Est.
A rare Victorian novelty silver pencil, by Edward and Son, circa 1882, modelled as a sphinx, with a ring attachment, the base inscribed ' Tel-El-Kebir, 13 Sept.1882', the base inscribed 'D. Martin', length closed 3.8cm. Provenance: The KB Collection of Pencils. Illustrated in Bull, K., The KB Collection of Pencils, private publication, 2012, page 63. The battle of Tel-el-Kebir was between the Egyptian army, led by Ahmed Urabi, and the British military, fought near Tel-el-Kebir. After discontented Egyptian officers rebelled in 1882, the British reacted to protect its financial and expansionist interest in the country, and in particular the Suez Canal, which opened to shipping in 1869.
