A fine pearl 50cm necklace by Fred E Ullman with an 18ct gold diamond and sapphire clasp. The 121 beautifully matched 8.6/6.5mm cultured pearls in two strands, joined by a pierced, scattered baton 22mm diameter clasp with central pearl and alternating diamonds and sapphires. 78.5gm Hallmark indistinct but 1966 is likely. Condition report: This appears to be in perfect condition. There may be some bending to the tips of gold batons. The larger pearls are by the clasp, see new photo. The baton has three fastening points so may have had an extra strand but it hangs beautifully with two strings.

Clasp clicks satisfyingly and has two side safety clips, one of which could be tighter but we would still judge the clasp to be secure.
