A PERIDOT, SEED PEARL AND SAPPHIRE PENDANT, circa 1900, the circular shaped mount formed of swag and pierced metal work detailing set to the centre with a round cut millegrain set peridot within a pierced surround set throughout with twelve round cut sapphire highlights, suspending an articulated drop set with a pear cut millegrain set peridot and the mount set throughout with graduating seed pearl highlights, all suspending on an articulated oval bale set with seed pearl highlights, on a fine twist link chain with bolt ring clasp. Mount stamped 15CT. Clasp stamped 9CT. Total length 40cm. Weight 9.4gms.CONDITION REPORTThe peridot's are both well matched mid yellow-ish green, each with good colour saturation and depth. The peridot drop has a slightly more cloudy appearance. The round-cut peridot measures approx. 5.96mm diameter by 4.98mm depth. The pear-cut measures length approx. 6.32mm by width 3.11mm by depth 2.45mm.The seed pearls are all well matched mid cream with brown overtones and good surface condition, slightly lacking lustre but otherwise a good show.The sapphires are all well matched mid to dark blue. Some visible wear to the collet settings.Generally in good condition with only minor surface marks and scratches to the metal in keeping with general wear.

Some evident wear to some of the millegrain settings, however all diamonds are secure.The plique-a-jour enamel is in good condition with no visible cracks or other damage.The sapphires are all mid to dark blue with purplish tones. Some appear darker than others, with some evidence of zoning to some.Good surface condition.Some evident wear to the mounts, however all sapphires are secure.Minor surface marks to the metal, particularly to the reverse, however in keeping with general wear and age.Overall in good condition.
