Three framed early to mid 19th century samplers, including an 1828 Adam and Eve sampler embroidered by Emma Parker, worked with a floral border with various spot motifs and verse, together with an alphabet sampler by Jane Spicer dated December 1834 and a larger coarser worked Victorian alphabet sampler, Adam and Eve sampler 31cm wide x 39cm high. Condition - the Adam and Eve sampler has some staining and areas of moth damage to the backing fabric, the embroidery is in tact. The 1834 sampler has a large hole to the side of the name and the Victorian sampler has slight foxing to the backing cloth.

The sampler has some small threadbare patches (mainly around the left bird, the border of the name/date plaque and the lower edge of the strawberry border). No obvious loose threads.
