A Victorian needlework sampler by Sarah Butler dated 1860, worked with a verse, flowers, birds and animals within a floral border, in a rosewood frame, 54cm x 58cm overall CONDITION REPORT: Some of the letters in blue to the middle of the sampler are lacking. Odd pull here and there. The ground is generally browned. We can not see the edge of the sampler to make an assessment. Frame with general light age wear.
A George IV period walnut-framed sampler: Ann Stockdale, finished her work December 13th 1820; 46.5cm x 37cm CONDITION REPORT: There is some discolouration, it gets darker to the middle right and also to the upper middle left. Colours look reasonable. Around the edges where the border is the mount maybe obscuring further sampler. See images.

The material is “rippling” and there are some darker patches and it has faded. See images.
A gilt-framed and glazed early/mid 19th century sampler with animals, alphabet, numerals, patterns etc.: Anne Emson aged 10 years; 41cm x 41.5cm CONDITION REPORT: We don't know if the sampler is glued to the backing card. The frame is new and it seems to have been put in there recently and is behind glass. The sampler looks very flat. It all appears reasonable, there some slight signs of discolouration. We can't see any big tears or holes or signes of restoration. There is some fading. See images.
A framed and glazed early 19th Century George III period sampler; biblical text and Elizabeth Parker's work March 1st 1813; sampler size 29cm x 37cm CONDITION REPORT: We think this is probably the original frame but it has been later painted. There is a new back on this. The sampler is generally good overall with some “lightish” darkening around the bottom area but no tears, rips or reparations.
A framed and glazed late-19th century needlework sampler: Margaret A. Peters, aged 11 years 188?; 41.5cm x 30cm CONDITION REPORT: This looks like a reproduction replaced frame, the condition is generally very good. There is a darker patch mainly to the middle where discolouration has taken place but we can't see any rips, tears or restorations to the piece.
