Binding.- Winter (William) Shakespeare's England, embellished with original pen, ink and wash drawings of Shakespearean interest by E. Fitch, loosely inserted card with inscription from Philadelphia rare book dealer A. S. W. Rosenbach, sumptuous red morocco binding by Bradstreet's, the covers decorated with borders of oak leaves and acorns using onlays of green morocco and gilt vines, spine gilt in compartments, green morocco doublures with gilt dentelles and leafy sprays with minute butterflies, silver moire silk endpapers with gilt borders and a rose in each corner, t.e.g., housed in red morocco pull-off case, 8vo, New York & London, 1894.⁂ Unique and stunning work with delightful vignettes by an accomplished yet little-know artist E. Fitch - one illustration is signed "E. Fitch Catskill" but we have been unable to trace an illustrator of that name in the New York state area. The text is a guide to the American literary pilgrim and it would seem possible that Rosenbach (or another bookseller) might have commissioned the embellishments in this copy for an important client.

1988 Toyota MR2Make: Toyota Model: MR2Year: 1988Mileage: 141026VIN: JT1C0AW1100138601Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: F207TSCTransmission: manualThe Midship Runabout 2-Seater - better known as the MR2 - was conceived by Toyota as a small, economical mid-engined sports car, and launched in 1984. This Super Red example, with black interior, was registered in August 1988 and has covered 141,019 miles (which can be warranted by the paperwork). It has had four previous registered keepers from new and its current MoT is valid until May 2022. The vendor tells us that the car has always been garaged. The paperwork folder is well organised and includes the V5C, as well as a large selection of bills dating from the late 1980s onwards. There are all the past MoT certificates plus tax discs, as well as the original new car book wallet containing the owner's handbook, dealership guide, and service record, which is stamped up to 126,558 miles in October 2003. However, there are invoices from later on in the car's life showing regular servicing, with the most recent one on November 2021, when the cam belts were also changed and a new alternator fitted, by Auto-Mech Services, at a cost of £362. The file also includes spare keys and a Super Red touch-up paint stick. In January 2003, this MR2 was noted as a Category C Insurance Loss (vehicle extensively damaged but repairable - insurer decided not to repair). 2000 Mercedes CLK 55 AMG Coupe 32,102 miles from new Make: Mercedes Model: CLK55 AMGYear: 2000Mileage: 32102VIN: WDB2083742F143642Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: W344MECTransmission: automatic The first-generation W208/C208 CLK was introduced in 1997, as a range of luxury mid-sized coupes and convertibles. The flagship model was the high-performance CLK 55 AMG, which debuted in 2000 and gave impressive performance thanks to its 342bhp 5.4-litre V8 engine. This silver coupe example, with black leather interior and carbon fibre inserts on the centre console, was registered in June 2000 and has had four former keepers. It has obviously been very well looked after over its 21 years, and is in very good condition inside and out, perfectly in-keeping with something that has only covered just over 32,000 miles (the actual total being 32,102). The spec includes a sat nav and electric sunroof. The paperwork folder includes the current and previous V5Cs and original document wallet, with owner's manual, COMAND audio, telephone and navigation system guide, and service book. This confirms the low mileage and records the last service as having been on the 31 January 2020 at 32,071 miles. However, a March 2021 invoice details a further service in March 2021 at 32,074 miles. There's also a hand-written note about a new fuel pump being fitted in February 2020, due to a blockage. There are also most MoT certificates (the current one expires in March 2022) from 2003 onwards, finally, there's also a copy of an Evo magazine article reviewing the model. A spare key is also included. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR VIDEO PRODUCED BY ACA OF THIS CAR.

There is very little wear apparent inside the car. The paperwork file includes the V5C and the original book wallet, containing the owner's handbook, service location guide, audio instructions (including radio code) and tuning guide. There is no service book however. The paperwork folder includes MoT certificates from 2018, 2020 and 2021 plus some invoices including one for a battery fitted in 2018. Edouard Weiss, Paris.Signed and justified by hand.Size: 54 x 43 cm."Guided by a scent", the final sentence in the book "Aromas" by Chillida, sums up the artist's spirit when working, allowing himself to be guided by the materials, by their essence. As the sculptor himself explained it: "The form, at the beginning, is almost like an undefined aroma that imposes itself as it becomes more precise. This pre-knowledge or aroma is my guide to the unknown, to the desired and the necessary". This is a silkscreen belonging to the book by Eduardo Chillida made up of five etchings, three woodcuts, two relief silkscreen prints, together with 38 pages of text that, through graphic work, poems, reflections and philosophical quotations, both by the artist himself and by various thinkers, brings us closer to the Basque artist's thought and work through the keys that have marked his career: time, space, music, freedom, matter, light and the sea. Published on the occasion of the artist's 76th birthday. In "Aromas" Chillida the plastic artist and Chillida the writer join hands to reveal the poet, the philosopher and the profound thinker. The edition consists of 160 graphic series with the numbering; 1-120; I-IX (suite); I-IX (suite in grey Eskulan); H. C. 1-10; E. A. 1-12.Chillida began drawing at the Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid, and his interest in sculpture gradually grew. It was during his years in Paris that he made his first plaster sculptures, impressed by the archaic Greek sculpture in the Louvre. He held his first sculpture exhibition in the French capital in 1950. In 1951 he returned to San Sebastián for good, and produced his first work in iron, the material he would work with for the rest of his life. Throughout his life, Chillida received numerous prizes and awards, including the Carnegie Prize, the Rembrandt Prize, the Wolf Foundation Prize for the Arts and the Prince of Asturias Prize for the Arts. He was also an academician of San Fernando, and a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, Honorary of the Royal Academy of Arts in London and of the Imperial Order of Japan, and was awarded the Grand Cross for Humanitarian Merit by the Institution of the same name in Barcelona. In addition to his Chillida-Leku Museum in Hernani, he is represented in museums and collections all over the world, such as the Guggenheim in Bilbao, the MOMA in New York, the Reina Sofía in Madrid, the Tate Gallery in London and the Neue Nationalgalerie in Berlin.

This is an engraving from the book by Eduardo Chillida made up of five etchings, three woodcuts, two silkscreen prints with relief, together with 38 pages of text that, through graphic work, poems, reflections and philosophical quotations, both by the artist himself and by various thinkers, brings us closer to the Basque artist's thought and work through the keys that have marked his career: time, space, music, freedom, matter, light and the sea.
