CLARK JIM: (1936-1968) Scottish motor racing driver, Formula One World Champion 1963 & 1965. A rare blue ink signature ('J. Clark') to the verso of a colour picture postcard depicting a BOAC Super VC10 in flight. Also signed in blue ink by five other individuals including Dick Jeffrey (Dunlop Racing Manager) and Louis and Jean Stanley (Team Principals of BRM) etc. With ink annotations in the hand of the collector directly beneath each signature and further annotated at the head indicating that the signatures were obtained on a flight from London to New York on 28th September 1965. A vintage 20th century trade / butchers advertising bicycle having a large wicker basket to the front with tubular metal frame. Rubber handle bars and Dunlop seat with central black and white painted panel reading 'Robert Gray Family Butcher, Newcastle Upon Tyne'. The metal frame all finished in black. Measures approx. 109cm x 178cm x 60cm.
An early 20th century silver, white opal and cabochon gem cluster set drop pendant necklace, in the manner of Sibyl Dunlop, the opal measuring approximately 22.4mm by 17.4mm, on an oval link chain.***CONDITION REPORT***Small stone missing.
