BOX OF DELIGHTS Here we are, the July 2010 edition of this old favourite, a box containing many varied items, including 3 Boys Annuals, 7 League handbooks 1955-73, 8 Cricket Annuals ( early post war editions including the Sunday Chronicle (Athletics News), assorted newspapers including Daily Telegraph 3/3/1939, also includes World Cup items, a quantity of trade cards, programmes ( including 1948 Olympics), 1966 World Cup souvenir, tape of Holland v Argentina 78 World Cup Final, boxing magazines and programmes, tickets, press photographs, World Sport magazines and last , but certainly not least, a box of 6 Dunlop Warwick recessed golf balls, still in original wrappers(1953 box). Certainly well worth a look. Fair-generally good

A 9CT GOLD 1890 PAISLEY CHARITY CUP MEDAL the obverse inscribed Paisley Charity Cup, Won By, St. Mirren. 1890, the reverse inscribed J Dunlop. The above medal was awarded to James "Daddy" Dunlop who was the first-ever St. Mirren player to play at International level, He died from an an accident obtained on the football field
